13 Main St, Bentham, LancasterFour of us were staying in the area, called into the bar for Sunday lunch (13/08/23) wasn't disappointed. Food was lovely, good value, staff friendly. Will definitely return next time we're up that way. Dog friendly also.

Main St, Bentham, LancasterWe recently spent a week in High Bentham we tried all the pubs and this was our favourite. We ate here 4 times and the food was excellent each time. The menu is varied with good veggie options and great value for money. It's very dog friendly. We were made to feel really welcome by the staff and locals. The pub has a great atmosphere and is really comfortable. We came in late one evening and the chef had gone home but the barmaid offered to cook a meal for us. That's proper Yorkshire hospitality. Best pub in Bentham

The Punch Bowl
9 Low St, Burton in Lonsdale, CarnforthWe have been staying in the village and have spent the last 3 evenings having a quiet drink in this pub .....really friendly owners.....exceptionally dog friendly ( water and treats for our little dog).....lovely ambience....Great music playlist....we also had a nice meal on the Saturday night...nothing fancy, scampi chips and peas...but hot and tasty.... there was nothing veggie on the menu....but they were more than happy to make my partner a veggie meal .....the log burner in the corner made it toasty warm and welcoming....would recommend to anyone

Hoggs N Heifers
Main St, Bentham, LancasterBrilliant, quirky pub. Great beer and lovely bar staff. We were staying in a nearby cottage for the weekend and this made for an excellent way to spend a couple of hours. If we lived nearer I'd be visiting this pub often!

Bentham Chippy
22 Main St, Bentham, LancasterWhat a great chippy. Everything is made fresh. The chips have a nice crisp texture with a fluffy inside. The fish is done to perfection. And to top it off the mushy peas are super. What a gem to have on our doorstep.

Bentham Balti Indian Take Away
10 Main St, Bentham, LancasterFound this indian while staying local and was not disappointed. We stayed in a local cottage for 5 days and went here twice. Tried 4 different curries and a few starters and couldn't complain about anything all top notch very tasty curries. I will be back next time we are down from Glasgow.

Little Fortune Chinese Takeaway
50 Main St, Bentham, LancasterNice Chinese takeaway is this. Friendly over the phone, picked it up and the girl behind the counter was nice and friendly, offered me prawn crackers - perfect. The food was good and just what we had ordered too, no complaints at all. They only accept cash just so you know.
