Lovely little cafe in the heart of Easingwold.First visit with a friend yesterday, we opted for tea and cake. Plenty of choice with gluten free options too.Everything was perfect, loved it.

What a lovely little cafe this is. We were welcomed warmly and shown to a window table, so it was a great place to view the town and passers by.Our food ordered came quickly and was wonderfully presented. Both of our lunch time meals were delicious, you could tell they use fresh quality produce here. We took some cakes home with us as they looked so tasty.Great friendly service.Recommended ?

My Dad and I stopped off at this cafe after a sweltering journey in a car with dodgy air con. Since we were too early to check into our holiday rental a few miles away, we chose the TeaHee in desperate need of a cuppa and a snack. Easingwold seemed to have more life than it did when we visited ten years previously. The setting is idyllic and the two staff who served us couldn't have been more welcoming. Would we like strawberry or raspberry jam with the fruit scone? Would we like onion marmelade with the cheese scone? Yum. Not long later, we were sitting at a table out the front with warm scones and a huge pot of tea. Thank you - this is what hospitality should be like.

Decaf latte is the best we have had,and also the best lemon drizzle cake. However our Jack Russell wasn't fussed on the cheap treats.??

£5.80 pence for two extremely small cups of tea to takeaway on the 15th of June is in my opinion daylight robbery.

With so many cafes in the town it can be difficult to chose between them. However, TeaHee was excellent in price, service and quality. Staff were very friendly and efficient, food was also very good with a good choice menu. Well worth a visit.

Stopped in on our way to Helmsley. Friendly staff, clean tables and good selection on menu Dog Friendly too. Wife had tasty gf choc orange tart and my Portuguese custard tart was excellent! Not too many cafes still do chilli bowls.

TeaHee used to be fabulous, (pre pandemic) but unfortunately it's really changed and not for the better.I had a panini today, which was fine, although the crisps it came with were stale. The appearance of the cafe and atmosphere was cold and neglected (it needs a coat of paint and it just feels like no one cares about it). Also, there was no noticable heating, so it was literally cold too! The service was poor - there was one waitress and she didn't come back even once to see if we wanted anything else. She also didn't know what the specials were and couldn't answer a question about the food.I'm so sorry to leave a bad review, but it now compares very unfavourably with the other cafes in Easingwold. We didn't stay for pudding/cake and went across the square to another cafe for that, which was well decorated, had a good atmosphere and great service - the comparison made TeaHee seem even bleaker! So disappointing that it's changed so much.

Popped in here to see if we could bring the dog and to see if there were gluten free options…… we were not disappointed! Our dog was welcomed with a treat and we had so many GF options to choose from! Cakes and sandwiches were of excellent quality and we had a giant pot of tea for two, washing everything down a treat. The staff were lovely and the cafe was cute and quirky, with cleanliness a clear priority. Thank you for providing our best cafe stop whilst we were in Yorkshire!

I came here for a cuppa and something to eat while walking around the town on a Sunday as I had won a voucher in a local raffle.2 staff in who were pleasant. I asked for a bowl of chips, but they don't do this, so I had a very nice tea cake with lots of butter and a coffee, which was also nice. There was me and another customer in, so the atmosphere was a little lacking, and it was cold.I will back in the future as it was an improvement on my last visit.
