Had a meal on Tuesday, and as it was so good went back on Thursday. They didn't have spicy meatballs on the menu but we gave them a ring to book and asked if they would do them. They did and they were the best I have tasted.Excellent food and Lisa the waitress is very friendly and helpful.Top restaurant as far as we are concerned. Will definitely go again when in Filey.Vegetarian options: A reasonable veggie option menu

Lovely food, friendly waiting staff. My son made friends with the chef who made him a special pizza. Very reasonable tasty food. We will definitely be back.

We have just had a lovely few days at The Bay Filey. We all fancied an Italian meal and came across La Gondola. What a great choice. The food was amazing. My grandson was so impressed with his pizza he wanted to thank the chef. The chef was so busy he didn’t have time to come out, so my grandson wrote him a note. The waitress was lovely with him. We returned the following night as the food was so good. He did get to meet the chef this time which made his night. If you are looking for a great Italian restaurant with lovely waiting staff then please give La Gondola a try. We shall definitely return when next in the area. Thank you all at La Gondola.

Excellent meal out for our boys 9th.The kids enjoyed and our parents enjoyed it.Everyone out of our party of 6 said the food was greatDecent price as well worked out just over £20 a head for 5 adults one kid, a few drinks each.Highly recomend

I ordered the chicken kebab, it was lathered in oily yogurt sauce and the suspected chicken was dried up cubes. After I mentioned this to the waitress it was removed and I was offered another meal. I ordered the lasagna as the dish my friend had looked good. I was told it would be another 10 minutes - after what seemed like an eternity. I cancelled to be told it was now ready. By this time I had had enough. The lasagna was put in a takeaway box. I was told I wouldn’t be welcome back, well actually I wouldn’t want to come back Karen!

First visit and not disappointed. Friendly staff and good service the food was piping hot and well presented. The happy hour is great value and there was no pressure to give up the table. We would definitely visit again.

Don't be fooled by the cafe style decor, this is truly excellent Italian food. Excellent seafood, lots of garlic, great pizza. Highly recommended. Friendly staff (well, it is Yorkshire!)
