The Boat Shed
7 Murray St, Filey10 of use went to the Boast Shed. The staff were brilliant. The service was good despite the owner having to take charge of the kitchen.Due to this and us being a table of ten there was some delay with the main courses. Although I have had much worse. The last pizza they served was a little "Doughy".This is where the owner and staff showed their true colours. We were informed by them that our drinks would not be charged to the bill. It's very rare in my experience that restaurant identifies an issues and sorts it.A clear example to other establishments on how to deal with an issues. To the owner and staff at the Boat shed well done on going above and beyond when dealing with an issue. We will definitely be back.PS the Amoretti was superb.

Monsoon Indian Cuisine
16A Belle Vue Cres, FileyOur Christmas Day dinner at Monsoon Indian Cuisine in Filey was spectacular. Booking in advance was a breeze, with their team responding promptly to our queries. The staff's attention, especially towards the youngest member of our party who desired chicken nuggets, was heartwarming. Each dish served was a masterpiece, reflecting the exceptional quality of the cuisine. The generous portion sizes, coupled with a great selection of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, made our experience memorable. It's unanimous amongst our family - Monsoon Indian Cuisine is the best Indian restaurant we've ever visited.

Alabama Fast Food
23 W Vale, FileyI ordered for delivery to our caravan, come right to our door and was absolutely amazing. Could not fault the food and if we come to primrose valley again I will 100% order again.Much cheaper than food on site (even with del fee), you get much much more for price and they even do deals for multiple people. myself and my partner got a calzone and pizza.

Beach Cafe
Sands Rd, Hunmanby Gap, FileyExcellent location and amazing view. Food is excellent and generous portions, but be careful with timing of lunch as they may run out near closing time due to high demand on busy days. There's a minimum for card payments so make sure to have some cash in pocket if you just need an ice lolly :) Very nice and friendly staff, great menu and superb location.Kid-friendliness: Quite good with kids, sufficient space with kids and dogs, there are some steps and bit steep leading to the cafe, so you may need to lift a stroller in few places.Wheelchair accessibility: Due to location and some steps it may not be convenient for the seating area with a wheelchair, although to the main cafe for takeaway it can be fine. The path to cafe's front is a little steep, but overall the path leading to the beach is, so if you're already down there from the parking lot it's noan issue.

Spring Cafe At The Church
4 Stonegate, Hunmanby, FileyLovely cafe run by volunteers, in the grounds of All Saints Church in Hunmanby. It's only open certain days and times, so worth checking on their website before travelling any distance. For instance on a Wednesday you can get a two course lunch and tea or coffee for £5.50. You need to book as meals are cooked to order. On other days you can have tea or coffee and usually on a Friday there is a community lunch held by Hun-Free a group dedicated to stopping food waste.Contrary to what you might think, this is not a Food Bank, so everyone is welcome to both the meal and to take home food.Joy the 'manager' makes everyone welcome.

Bonhommes Bar
Royal Crescent Court, The Crescent, FileyTimeless kind of place. If you want shallow and glitzy, this is not the venue for you. Atmospheric without trying, superb well kept beers. You either get this place or you don't, and if you don't then you just don't get what makes the heart of a good pub, and you probably don't have a pulse. My wife and I called in one lunchtime, only three other people in, but that doesn't matter because it's a great pub and always will be.

Coble Landing, FileyFish and chips spot on. 3 small fish & chips and 3 drinks plus a couple of sauces £20.The staff are friendly, but don't seem overly happy. Bit of a blood from stone atmosphere. But still, us and the kids enjoyed getting the food and sitting on the wall looking out to the sea.
