My friend and I visited today with our 2 small well behaved dogs..Whilst the food was quite nice (nothing really to shout about)The frosty atmosphere from the staff made our experience very uncomfortable. No smiles, no hello, no thankyou when we paid etc.I understand we all get off days but all the staff were frosty and not welcoming at all. This is my 5th visit and all visits have been the same.I couldnt wait to eat up and leave.I wont be returning. Plenty more eateries in ayton with lovely staff

Sad to see the fridge was not working today so a cold drink was warm. The lady said I can put ice in. Ice just waters a drink down. I went to another cafe

Lovely coffee shop, had some great food. Service was excellent. This was an unplanned stop after we walked up Roseberry Topping.

Decided to try here as is always really busy. Very disappointed. Cafe was very dirty. On arrival was not acknowledged by the staff. Ordered a toasted tea cake & a bailey coffee. The tea cake came cold & under toasted.. baileys coffee.. couldn’t taste the baileys or the coffee, tasted like they had forgotten the coffee & the baileys. How can you get a toasted tea cake & coffee so wrong?!!!!Will not return.. would not recomnend..Only good thing about it was that it was dog friendly.. but there are plenty of other cafes/pubs that are dog friendly..☹️

Have discovered this place recently and it is my go to for friends breakfast get together's. Was recommended by a friend for Eggs Benedict which is one of my favourite breakfasts. A few of us now go regularly and have not been disappointed. The owner is lovely and cheerful and staff are very helpful and will always try to accommodate any special dietary likes or needs you have. Prices are reasonable for the setting and type of food served. I shall certainly continue to frequent Stamps and shall highly recommend it to others. Keep up the good standards!

Wonderful cafe and very reasonable priced. Somewhere to meet friends or to sit in and enjoy a cuppa and cake on your own. Welcoming, delicious food, great staff and atmosphere. Best scones in town too! (Village)

This was our second visit to Stamps as we had really enjoyed our last visit. Unfortunately, today's coffee cake was a little bit on the dry side. Shame.Coffee was fine, it is clean, the staff are lovely, price is good, good menu, and if was lovely and snuggly on a cold, damp afternoon.

We called in for a cup of tea (ordinary for me and decaf for my friend) which was fine. The cakes and pastries didn’t look to be anything special and certainly didn’t tempt me. However, my friend was feeling peckish so she also had a cookie, which she described as being “okay”, before she succumbed to a blueberry scone with butter and jam which, again, she said was “okay”. This is just a very average cafe and there’s nothing that makes it stand out. I suspect that there’s better to be had locally.

Sadly we never got to sample this cafe because they were closed when we arrived at 3:30 on Sunday, despite having a posted closing time of 4pm... We instead went to the Pomegranate tearoom which was actually open and served a very nice cup of tea and carrot cake.

Extremely friendly cafe and visited several times and never been disappointed with a good selection of items on the menu to suit all tastes. ??
