Great kittle pub. Food was excellent. 3 adults got the yorkshire bacon cheese burger and a drink each for £39. Wednesday is free pool and a burger or pizza and a pint for £10.The place is very clean and keith and lisa the proprietors and excellent, friendly, welcoming and nothing is to much trouble.Would highly recommend a visit to this little jem.

We came for Sunday diner today which was very yummy but just not enough for four of us we only had a small dish of vegetables half of which was red cabbage and none of us like so we had half a dish of veg for four and the Yorkshire puddings were quite dry but the meat was beautifully cooked the gravy was outstanding and the veg we had was equally yummy the service was amazing and everywhere looked clean and tidy had there been more veg and maybe some mashed potatoes it would of been perfect we will 100% come back though as like I say it was yummy x

Really loved this pub. We just fancied a roast when driving home from Whitby to Manchester. A quick Google search showed this place as well reviewed & nearby. The food & service was impeccable. The landlady ran a very tight ship. Well worth a visit!!

Cannot praise enough the staff & chefs here. Went for the Christmas party season & wow what a meal. From the starters to the dessert absolutely gorgeous. Think we need to go back to try the whole menu. The menu as a good selection well worth the price. The beef melt in the mouth, Turkey so succulent. Unfortunately left the mince pies forgot to ask for a doggie bag ??. Thank you for the fantastic service & making our evening. Keep up the fantastic work. Huge pat on the back to you all xx Make sure you book in advance

We had arranged a 70th birthday party for the family for Saturday. We needed it to be early for the number of young children attending. We were accommodated in a separate room and both meals and drinks were brought to us. The staff were extremely helpful all evening and the food was lovely. Everyone remarked about how good it was. We all had a wonderful time and rate the experience as excellent. Thanks to everyone who made the event special for us.

We was visiting the eden camp so phoned on the off chance to see if they had a table free for Sunday lunch as we was only 10 minutes away they kindly accommodated us.The meal was lovely we each had 3 courses the huge Yorkshire pudding with the roast was amazing and my grandson loved his sticky toffee dessert. All the staff were very friendly and accommodating .We are travelling back to visit the Eden camp this weekend so hoping to get a booking for Sunday Lunch again well worth the 120 mile trip .

Chicken was beautifully cooked, in a delicious sauce- only way it could have been improved is if more vegetables had been served with the dish. Burger with skin-on chips was really good. Very generous portions. I had a rhubarb crumble which was absolutely gorgeous- serbed with vanilla custard and ice cream- it was so large I had to share it, and there was more than enough for two!!Very friendly service, lovely atmosphere with sport on television and good music selection playing.Highly recommend this place!!!Parking: Easy parking across the road.

Called in to see the pub as there is a family connection to the original Blacksmiths Arms C1940. The pub was busy throughout . Food was superb. Staff were all polite , helpful and accommodating as was the landlady. One of the tastiest meals I had in a good while . Fresh . Hot and fairly quickly delivered. Excellent sums up our experience . ?
