Went in here with our two dogs and didn’t realise that everything served is gluten free. It wasn’t until my wife wet to pick a slice of cake that we found out.We had panini which were excellent and lovely harissa and sweet potato soup to start. We then decided to share a slice of cake and having tried lots GF cakes this was very good.Would certainly recommend this place, excellent service and good food.

My absolute favourite cafe. Fantastic for coffee, cake or even lunch. So far my favourites are the lemon and orange cake & the Sweet Potato Spiced Soup with savoury scone/muffin (both dairy free and gluten free).Dietary restrictions: I am Dairy and Gluten free, I can eat almost everything on the menu, which makes a fantastic changeKid-friendliness: Staff are fantastic with kids and the little one loves their chocolate muffins

Absolutely fantastic cakes and scones and service.I am gluten free and I have never had food like it.I will recommend this cafe for everyone. Even if not gluten intolerant. My mother in law said she had the best hot chocolate she has ever had.The food was delicious and presented immaculately.Dietary restrictions: Coeliac

A delightful and unexpected find. A little quirky but we were made so comfortable and the owner was so accommodating. Not a place for a quick in and out, but we'll worth a visit. If you a want chain coffee outlets coffee, you will not go back to their diesel slop.

One of us is a coeliac so when we spotted this all gluten-free cafe we had to visit for morning tea and cake. Its a cosey compact space and obviously popular with locals and visitors. Ironically the non-coeliac among us has a serious strawberry allergy and had to have the beautifully presented slice of cake adjusted due to the strawberry garnish. there is a fabulous range of home-made cakes and great coffee and Yorkshire tea,

Without a doubt, the best gluten-free cakes I've tried anywhere in the country so far, nice friendly cafe giving that been in a warm country house style feeling instead of cold bland cafes . The owner, who is also the Baker and with his son, serves the food , are both very nice and polite, and make you feel very welcome entering and leaving the cafe.Would love more meal selections but giving the fact that all the cakes are freshly baked every day and the cafe isn't a big building its probably not possible at the moment but I'm hoping one day this might be possible because every thing this baker makes is excellent and I highly recommend anyone passing by to pop in and treat your self.

Best selection of gluten free cakes I’ve ever come across in over 30 years of being a coeliac, beautifully presented wish we’d been in the area at lunchtime

Three of us called in for cake and coffee (one coeliac) which was delicious plenty of gluten free options rather than the usual single option. So we decided to have paninis which everyone thoroughly enjoyed. A fully gluten place is the way to go. The place is cosy and I was delighted to find paper towels in the toilet. I wish you continued success

My wife and I have been visiting Thingy-Ma-Jigs Coffee House in Guisborough for several months now on a weekly basis. Sadly, we can't visit more than once a week due to commitments - if I had my way, I would have my breakfast there, Tuesday to Saturday! Bruce makes, in particular, a terrific cappuccino and our other personal favourites include ham and cheese panini, corned beef & potato pie and freshly baked muffins. Have to be grateful to Bruce and his family for all their hard work and commitment to all of us Coeliacs (but, to be honest, I believe anyone, Coeliac or not, would enjoy a visit to this welcoming coffee house).
