“What a lovely gem in the middle of nowhere! (Nice green countryside nowhere!) Food was frankly amazing - I had the belly pork with dauphinoise potatoes which were spectacular! Rich and opulent! Laura is a fantastic host who was super friendly and put up well with my cousin's nonsense!”

British • “Staying down the road at Maustin Park, they have a limited menu on a Wednesday and wasn't feeling the bar atmosphere so jumped in the car to come and dine here, wanted some proper pub grub.Perfect experience! Fantastic service (Wed 20th August 5pm) young girl dark hair in a plait. Food was exceptional. Lovely atmosphere, chilled and dog friendly. Thanks for making my one night stay great. I've put 5 stars for the room, I'm not a actually staying here but expect them to be as good as the eatery xxx”

“A beautiful tearoom, I'm partial to the York location but Harrogate is lovely too. This is an English tea to die for, but the menu has fantastic choices and I swear all of them tasty. The staff are so friendly and with crisp clean uniforms they bring a touch of nostalgia. If you have the chance this is a must visit, or grab some cakes to take home and nibble on.”

“First time here. Service was quick and staff were attentive. Good food. Nice outside seating area. Food menus need to be reprinted and please tell customers it's pay at till. I spent 10 mins waiting for a check. Will come back.”
