Our 3rd stay at Harrogate and just as good as the 1st time....A beautiful hotel in an ideal location...The rooms, the bar, the bistro and all the staff are amazing...A brilliant find for a touch of luxury at affordable prices.....We have taken our dog on all 3 occasions, they provide a a bed and bowls in the dog friendly rooms and always make a fuss of him....Looking forward to our 4th stay ?

Had a very nice weekend stay here, good size room (standard room), a bit dated in places but clean and all mod cons. Bar was great, parking outside hotel for £10 per night. Excellent service

Great central location and the rooms are lovely (if not a tad warm). However, service is appalling. Had to ask for service on more than one occasion in the restaurant. Not what you expect from a higher end hotel. To be fair the food was good when it came. Reception service was not much better. Be warned parking is a free for all too...unless you have booked. Nearest large car park is a good ten minute walk (you may be lucky and get some on street parking but that is limited too). Disappointing.Noteworthy details: Poor service across the board from reception to restaurant.

The service in the restaurant during our evening meal was very much below Hotel du Vin standards, a number of other patrons made complaints too. (It would appear, that some loud function was taking place below stairs, this seemed to be the excuse used for such poor and in some cases none existent service) Not our problem, perhaps employ more staff. None of the wait staff including the manager made eye contact as they dashed in & out of the kitchen, hugely disappointed, My partner had taken me away, to celebrate my birthday...I must say, we could not fault the service we received at breakfast though,

Visited Harrogate for the first time and stayed at Hotel Du vin. The staff were so welcoming and helpful, customer service at its best. The location of the hotel is perfect..Betty's Tea Rooms is literally a stone throw from.the hotel. We didn't eat at the hotel as we were only staying one night and wanted to eat out. We stayed in room Torres which was just the right size and very clean. We'll definitely be staying again. Thanks to all the staff who made our stay pleasurable.

We stayed in the Grange suite and it was lovely. Took the missus for her birthday. Roll top bath next to a massive bed and bottle of champagne waiting for us in the mini bar. Can't wait to go back.Rooms: Absolutely stunning and luxuriousFood & drinks: Very nicely served. Breakfast was amazing before we headed off for a nice spa

Very bad experience unfortunately. Used to be a great place to eat and drink but now it lacks customer service and quality. The service we received made us feel very unwelcome.Won’t be coming back.

Stayed for 2 nights. Room was spacious and of a good standard. Staff were very friendly. Breakfast was very good but........oh dear! The meal we had on Saturday night was disappointing! For the price we paid I expected a much better standard! I ordered pan seared scallops which were pan boiled ( clearly somebody doesn't know how to pan sear ) and the garnish was very cold so had come out of a freezer or cold chiller! The quality of the scallops was fine, just a shame that the execution of the dish was poor. When i politely complained the response i received was "well that's how the chef normally cooks them", Not the best response. We both had rump steak with vegetables which was enjoyable. The restaurant wasn't busy but the service was pedestrian, we weren't in a hurry but we were waiting an unreasonable amount of time between courses which was due to the waiter being more interested in laying up tables for breakfast.
