This is the best restaurant in Harrogate in my opinion! We spent New Years Eve here and it was the best meal/experience we have had for ages and we eat out a lot! The staff and owner couldn’t have been more attentive/friendly on a really busy night and made us feel like we were regulars, wish we lived in the area so we could be! They accommodated for our dog Olive and fussed over her lots which she was happy about. The food was amazing, everything was fresh and tasty and cocktails were beautiful, we drank lots of them! I would urge anyone living in/visiting Harrogate to head to Lilypad and you will not be disappointed, can’t thank the team enough for a New years to remember ❤️

Lunch at Lilypad was a very pleasant experience, warmly welcomed by our genial host, and happily surprised by a really different menu - so nice not to see all the usual boring offerings.The starter of olives was exceptionally generous and delicious, the kohlrabi fries were wonderful, I had not tasted these before.The chilli squid, another novelty, was very very good. the Thai chicken is to be recommended. This chef knows his stuff.Because Lilypad is on Kings Road, and not near the Conference Centre, it relies on repeat business and word of mouth and it is heart-warming to find a restaurant this good locally.The menus change regularly, so it is definitely worth visiting on a regular basis.This restaurant is going to give The Ivy a run for it's money!

This place is so incredibly welcoming! I visited with a young man I look after who is autistic and they took time to listen to his questions and properly answer him. Nothing was too much trouble and they also welcomed our puppy with a water bowl and treat! We will definitely be back!

Me and three fellas had a fantastic Friday lunch at Lilypad. Owner and staff were so friendly, relaxed, knowledgeable and helpful. Great beers that we had fun working through and well advised by the bar guy. The food was exceptionally good and inventive. Squid rolls with kimchi, feather blade steak, chicken, baba ganoush, gyoza, spare ribs were all incredible. We’ll be back again. And again.

We visited with my daughters and their partners . My eldest who lives in Harrogate and has been here several times urged us to come . We weren’t disappointed , the food was extraordinary fantastic flavours in dishes that my wife and I hadn’t ever had before . I can thoroughly recommend the edamame /chicken balls , cauliflower and ribs . Just gorgeous . They also offer bespoke cocktails , the Scicilian Murphy was particularly nice . All of this in a vibrant atmosphere with lovely staff means we will definitely be back

I normally don’t like to complain but this restaurant need to improve on their foods quality. The flat bread was not cooked, spare rib was complete dry and no taste… we would not want to come back honestly
