Absolutely lovely food. Fantastic and friendly service in a really nice, ambient place. My 1st visit to the Smiths Arm, it was a favourite of my father inlaws, we had a lovely walk around swinsty reservoir and stopped here on our way home, the pub is charming with plenty of carparking, we hadn't booked but the friendly staff quickly found us a table in the bar area as we had a dog. The pub is cosy and warm with an open fire, good selection of drinks, food was ordered from the lunchtime menu and everything was nice. Had a really nice Sunday lunch today with the gang at the Smiths Arms whilst out on the motorcycles. They were very welcoming and on the ball.. The beef was very rare and went down a treat. The meal was hot and well presented. The one radish muncher in the group had some kind of mushroom Wellington and said it was delightful..All in all a very nice experience and I would say bikers are very welcome..
