“What a lovely gem in the middle of nowhere! (Nice green countryside nowhere!) Food was frankly amazing - I had the belly pork with dauphinoise potatoes which were spectacular! Rich and opulent! Laura is a fantastic host who was super friendly and put up well with my cousin's nonsense!”

Pubs • “Staying down the road at Maustin Park, they have a limited menu on a Wednesday and wasn't feeling the bar atmosphere so jumped in the car to come and dine here, wanted some proper pub grub.Perfect experience! Fantastic service (Wed 20th August 5pm) young girl dark hair in a plait. Food was exceptional. Lovely atmosphere, chilled and dog friendly. Thanks for making my one night stay great. I've put 5 stars for the room, I'm not a actually staying here but expect them to be as good as the eatery xxx”

“Great beer, both their own BAD Co. range and a great choice of guest beers, great atmosphere, welcoming and knowledgeable staff. Recommended!Update: it's a good few years since I wrote the above. In the meantime it has changed hands and the BAD Co. beer is no more - but the beer selection is still great, it's still a special place, and I still recommend it!”

Great selection of Cold Bath ales with a good selection of guest beers.
Kitchen is run by Yuzu which offers Japanese inspired street food.
