I spent 2 nights here working nearby and if you don't mind the really irratating and noisy flooring outside and in your bedroom then this pub is just spot on for a stay. The staff just couldnt do enough for you and the food was spot on, beer a bit pricey but the service at all times was second to none. Plenty of parking and I fully recommend you stay here and not bust your balls trying to get in and out of Harrogate.

Breakfast and dinner downstairs, both delicious.\\nRoom was cold, window didn't shut completely and only 1 radiator. Walls between rooms very thin and corridor floorboards squeaky / loud.

This hotel is absolutely superb! I read lots of reviews on other local hotels, all of which had some negative about them, but not here. Innkeepers Lodge/Kestrel was lovely, roaring fires in the pub, excellent food, friendly staff, comfy beds and everything spotless. Perfect :-)

Party of 6 for an evening meal\\n\\nStarter's were small, Mains were better. Dessert ok\\nFood quality was ok\\nFor the price paid not the best value\\nThe others in the party feared better than me.\\nNot a great night for me as I had high expectations\\nThe next day I visited the toilet several times in succession

Met two friends for lunch. Three meals good but the belly pork was a bit over cooked and the vegetables could have been hotter. Only one choice alcohol free beer. Staff very friendly and efficient.

Lovely building full of character and charm (the fireplaces are stunning and the views are breathtaking). Room was modern and very comfortable. The welcome from Jeannete and the way Gemma looked after us (celebrating our anniversary) when we were having dinner on the evening was superb. We don't usually go to the same place twice but next time we're in the area we'll be back as couldn't fault the place. Don't hesitate to book, you won't be disappointed.

Stopped for lunch here. First time visit.\\nFor a Tuesday it was exceptionally busy so I advise you to book a table to prevent disappointment.\\nGreat spot with lovely views over the countryside to the back.\\nThe interior is modern with a country inn feel.\\nTables aren't on top of one another and there's seating throughout the inn.\\nStaff were kept very busy but they were attentive and quick to deal with everyone without any long delays.\\nThe menu had a ample choice of hot and cold food with lite bites as well as full meals.\\nWe had the beef brisket, red onion sandwich with chips and a very tasty dipping dish of beef gravy. It was delicious and ample enough fir a lunchtime meal.\\nThere's seating outside the Inn to the back and rooms available for stays.\\nThere is a carpark to the front/side of the inn and to the back.\\nThis is a lovely place to eat, visit and relax.\\nWould highly recommend.

We had a meal at The Kestrel, Wetherby Road, this evening. We usually have vegan meals for various reasons. The food here is lovely, and the staff friendly and helpful. The chef clearly knows what he's doing with plants as the meals were so much better than some pub vegan food we've had in the past. All the food looked great, so highly recommend here especially if you are looking for plant based that is better than the average. We don't live locally, but we will be back.

Nice Pub and rooms, although the room was very noisy when we arrived. The extractor fans from the kitchens were the problem. It would have been nice if we'd had advanced warning. Thankfully it was really quiet at bedtime. Every thing else was great.
