Went for Sunday dinner and the food was great, staff are really friendly and the prices are fair. Inside seating is quite cosy and comfortable. We also had dessert, which was nice.

The management is not family friendly.We tried to order to the table in the beer garden because our baby was asleep in a pram and couldn’t come inside. The manager on Sunday March 10th refused to serve us and we had to leave. He was completely unsympathetic and cold.Would not recommend to anyone with a baby. First bad experience at Carriages and left very disappointed.

Amazing food, service and ambience. Went for Sunday lunch and dinot disappoint, will defo be back. Live in Harrogate (30 yrs) so loads of options in town and surrounding area, but this is one of / the best chilled cosy Sunday lunches ever had. Book to avoid disappointment.

Took my son here tonight and we were left for 40 minutes without even the offer of a drink. We were completely ignored and other people coming in after us were getting served. Once I had got up to walk out the waitress the suddenly noticed us! Will never come back. Such a shame as I’ve just moved here and liketo support local businesses

The food was absolutely delicious I will definitely return next time I am in Knaresborough. Lovely, cosy little restaurant.
Waited 50 minutes for the food.Was ok, nothing special but cooked well.The main concern was increasing the prices on all our mains from the menu.When I questioned this the waitress looked embarrassed, she obviously knew what they had done and brought a revised bill.This was not wrong items so no mistake.Save your money and go elsewhere.

Had an amazing anniversary dinner here, my boyfriend ordered the katsu curry and I ordered the Seabass, both were absolutely delicious!Staff are really lovely and a really nice atmosphere.

Just had the best Sunday lunch here! I have always been disappointed if eating out for Sunday lunch, and end up wish I'd made my own, until today! Really fresh, served hot, lovely taste gravey, it was delicious ? only down side, I was too full for dessert! I had the vegetarian option (butternut squash and beetroot Wellington) and husband had the farm yard (pork, beef and chicken). Would definitely recommend.
