This cafe is very popular - understandably so - friendly, welcoming atmosphere with freshly prepared light meals and home baked cakes fresh every day. Very reasonable prices.

Beautiful little place we found to have a coffee and a bite to before a hospital appointment. Best scone I've had for ages, my husband had a lovely prawn sandwich and the coffees were amazing. Prices were very reasonable. Would definitely recommend.

Visiting from Scotland and stopped by mid-morning for coffee and scone on strength of reviews (and reading negative reviews of many others) and weren't disappointed. Here we could still get a coffee for under £3 yet my mocha was spot on. Attentive and efficient service in fresh and clean space. Loved the bee fabric of the blinds.

This was a lovely experience and will be returning everytime I return to see my mum from Newcastle. The staff were so lovely and happy and that makes such a difference and rarely happens in other places. My little boy had a milkshake and said it wa she best. Myself and my mother had a scone and tea and the scone was fresh and delicious. Thank you very much ?
