51 Wheelgate, MaltonPizzas are amazing. I get the l'atomica it's very good. Only ever had the pizza and never eaten in so cant comment on the rest of the menu or the restaurant. They once made a small error on my take out order, they apologised and corrected it, no fuss. We get take out regularly and would recommend.

1 Scarborough Rd, Rillington, MaltonThe food was lovely! Staff fantastic! The pub itself was far too cramped to have so many people eating and other people just stood at the bar. My partner was hit with handbags as people walked by, had his chair kicked and we had people just staring at us while we ate.
There was a party of 16 people stood next to our table shouting and being rowdy.

She was very efficient, even brought customer's hot drinks over, and in control of things.
She is the kind of staff bosses would like to hire.
Oh, the cutlery were cleaner than other Morrisons' stores.

14 Newbiggin, MaltonA classic old style pub, several separate areas giving various degrees of cosy. We were greated by the biggest friendly dog I have ever seen !
We did not eat on this occasion but thought it would not be fair to give no stars. There are lots of good reviews for the food on this website. The staff were very pleasant and they poured a perfect pint of Taylors landlord at a very reasonable £4.50. This place has charm in abundance, a welcome change from all myriad of corporate chains. ?

Exceptional food and service, the menu was a refreshing change from traditional pub food, offering fresh, wholesome and well presented food, most enjoyable, which is what we were looking for. The Spotted Cow
Spital St, MaltonThe Spotted Cow is a traditional unspoilt three roomed pub. There is a blue plaque outside the pub listing it as a Tetley heritage pub. There is a good choice of draught drinks including two hand pulled cask conditioned real ales, which were in excellent condition when I visited. There is a nice cosy front bar and another room to the side of it. Up some steps, there is a middle room with a bar and a dart board. Behind the pub there is a nice outside seating area. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. It's a nice pub worth visiting.

Yorkersgate, Kirby Misperton, MaltonJust been to flamingoland, this was a very popular choice with my kids. We had dinner one evening and had breakfast on the morning we left. Lools like a typical American diner from the movies, kids loved the decor.Dinner was great, portions were big (nobody could finish their meal they had that much food infrony of them lol) Although a bit pricey you definitely get a lot for you money. Breakfast was great too, portions are good, again pricey but you expect to pay more in places like this.Milkshakes were great made to order and a big hit with the kids.Karen one of the waitress' was amazing with my kids, chatting and having a laugh with them. She went above and beyond and made the experience within the restaurant so much better genuinely an amazing person. She remembered us from a few days before and took extra time to make sure we had everything we needed and where happy.

88 Commercial Street, Norton, MaltonNever fails to disappoint unreal food. Salt and pepper crispy chicken is the best I’ve had around lots of chicken always come crispy tons of flavour. Sweet and sour sauce is actually perfect literally what is says. Tried satchuan, tried kung pao tried dumplings ribs rice fried rice noodles soups everything is great. Thanks Will my g never fails to disappoint ordered loads of times sometimes even £70 orders never forgot a thing the best Chinese.

4 Milton Ave, MaltonPerfectly cooked, very fresh and subtantial fish with a home-made mushy peas which was one of the best I have ever eaten. This is a brilliantly run, friendly fish and chip shop. If you are anywhere near Malton, make the detour. Congratulations to the owners!

The atmosphere was nice with low lighting and little lights on the tables. The windows and other little areas had been beautifully decorated with autumnal pumpkins and lights.
I’d mentioned in my booking that it was my Mum’s birthday and the team worked really hard to make the evening extra special, including an unexpected little surprise. Thank you so much to the whole team who were so friendly and made the night memorable. We’ll definitely be returning.

The staff are lovely and the atmosphere cosy but the highlight is the food itself. The egg sandwich was delicious. It was served with a tasty coleslaw and fresh salad. The hot chocolate is superb .
The cafes in Malton are very good and I like lots of them but this is definitely the best.

What a find!
I had a bacon and egg sandwich in a soft bread bun with a latte …..all for just £6! The sandwich was piping hot and the yolk was perfect!

The interior is a bit dated but the staff are friendly and the prices are very reasonable. The food is delicious as we had a port Sunday roast and a cheese and bacon burger. We would certainly go again if in the area.

If you want ambiance, Italy culture , family friendly , dam good food, florios is quite frankly the best Italian restaurant in the north of England if not the whole country. It's the go too to impress visiting family ! Go too for tourists and the no 1 place to eat if you are lucky enough to live here in Malton . And as I'm sick of saying please don't forget about the steak , yes British folk steak. My god is the steak good. And when I thought it couldn't get better they now have added an amazing value for money cocktail menu. Which I indulged in heavily. Italy in a jar in Malton.

The price-quality ratio was amazing. I had the best sausage roll I've ever eaten (an incredible amount of sausagemeat). I tried a range of things from a filled roll to a Danish and everything was really tasty. I wasn't a huge fan of the coffee, it was the only thing that let the place down for me, but perhaps I just got a bad one.

My friend requested salad rather than chips with her seafood basket and the chef happily obliged. Sunday lunch was all home cooked with fresh vegetables and the chicken breast was so plentiful we had to take some home! Lovely kind staff who couldn’t do enough to help.

This “hidden bar” has a fantastic range of bourbon and whiskeys, ranging from £6.50 a shot to £150+ for some.
They also have wines, beers and various gins.
A real treat for any whiskey drinker.
