A great cafe. The cakes we had were delicious. It's quite small to fit a buggy in, however, staff asked us to wait until a bigger table became free so we could fit in. The homemade Battenburg cake was delicious.

Most favourite place to go for coffe and a brownie, even sometimes food.. staff are lovely it’s nice and clean and overall would say it was the best place to go locally.

If we lived locally there's no doubt it would be our go to! Really nice ambience, friendly service and tasty tasty food.Parking: Up to 2 hours free at St Michael's Yard which is a couple of doors up. Half an hour only on-street parking.

Arrived just after 11am for a brunch. Was rudely told cakes & drinks only until 12 noon, space upstairs, come back down and order when ready. Noted menu said breakfast served until 11.30am. When finally served our coffees were tepid and the tea cakes were dry and flavourless. During our short stay another couple left without ordering as they were spoken so rudely by the staff.

Went for tea and cake at this cosy cafe. We had not realised that we had arrived a couple of minutes before last orders but were made to feel very welcome with attentive, but not rushed service. The selection of cakes was huge - with some lovely Christmassy items - creole cake and Wensleydale- yummy. The ambience and decor made it a comfortable and really enjoyable experience. Thank you for a lovely cuppa and cake!

we chose to visit here after reading the reviews, and very well deserved they are. Absolutely a 5 star place. The service from the young man was simply perfect, a credit to the business, our breakfast (light english) was stunning - not greasy, excellent produce and piping hot... and the venue is fabulously decorated. Definitley be back
