We visited on Saturday over Easter weekend. I was amazed, and loved the secret door. The atmosphere was wonderful, peaceful and choice of drinks were very good, whisky wise. It reminded me of Narnia, a little secret world away from the madness . Thank you for the experience guys.

Amazing selection of whisky. Not the cheapest, but knowledgeable staff who are very friendly in a fabulous atmosphere and building . Also serves other drinks to keep the non whisky-loving folk happy. If you like Scotch, this is unbeatable.

Fantastic small quirky pub. Although only one real ale and one lager both were excellent and from small brewery not main stream. Excellent collection of 300 whiskies. Entrance is through a shop and is via a secret door. You will understand when you get there. Very knowledgeable staff. Definitely

Pleased we found it. Took a while to get in as the secret book was not working. Really nice friendly and laid back vibe. My cocktail was delicious.

This bar is fantastic: a real asset to Malton. The staff are also incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. The kind of place you dream going to have a few relaxing drinks. The snacks are good (although I always think there’s potential for charcuterie/cheese - I only say this so I can stay and drink for longer). This bar also stocks artisan non-alcoholic beer: again, a real bonus. I would recommend this place to everyone. Between the drinks, the staff and the atmosphere, it’s hard to find another venue in Malton that can compete. You’ll never be disappointed here.

A real find. Tucked away behind a whisky shop, past the secret door and up the stairs you'll find a little gem of a bar. Chat to the barman, listen to the recommendations and relax. Just what you need after a long day eating the treats that Malton provides!
