Stopped off for lunch on a cold March day for lunch and were extremely pleased with the warmth of the welcome and the quality of the food.I was especially pleased to see that dogs were welcomed and shall make a point of visiting again in the very near future.

What a gorgeous humble little campsite. All the facilities needed for a get away in the camper or caravan. Quite a big park for the children to enjoy the outdoor space. The pub has incredible food and the staff are so welcoming and warm. The heated outdoor area also allows for more outside time to take in the full camping experience. There is plenty to do a short drive away too. Definitely will be going back!

Called in for what would have been a couple of pints but just had one. Lovely open fire which was perfect for the murky October day we went. Not a huge choice of beers which is to be expected (village pub). Not a particularly welcoming atmosphere, not hostile by any means but not friendly either.Had kittens outside which was great though.

Last minute booking as a social event, nice homely bar, lots of outside space, plenty of parking, good food, reasonably priced, decent drinks selection too, much to my delight.Parking: Ample parking.Kid-friendliness: Park on site for the kids.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes.

First time visiting, the staff were very welcoming and friendly. I had the Sunday lunch which was delicious and my husband had a very generous portion of chilli nachos that he said were spot on, we were greedy and shared an excellent sticky toffee pudding with custard. The black sheep beer went down a treat too, we'll definitely be back.

Didn't try the food only there for a stop on our camping trip. Lovely little place, good atmosphere, great pub.

Disappointing, looks like a lovely place and have a nice camp site but we turned up at half past 4 on a Sunday afternoon and there was no enthusiasm to serve us a meal and actually referred us the Coachman which was lovely.

Had a great meal (lamb burger from the Specials board, halloumi fajitas and chicken fajitas) along with really reasonable priced drinks. We took our 2 dogs and they were welcomed (and fussed over) all night. The evening was topped off with a fantastic performance by Connor Lawlor! All round a great evening.Parking: Small car park, which is likely to get full when the pud is busy.

The food was tasteless, I had Jerked chicken which was so bland, salt and pepper would have given a bigger kick. Whilst I appreciate that they must cater for every one with no heat in the dish it should not be called Jerked chicken. My daughter in law had the Chilli Nachos yet again no spice as she described it as just like minced beef. When we told the waitress who asked if everything was OK we simply got a disinterested "oh sorry about that" not interested at all. The bar man served my daughter in law then served a local his beer telling my wife who he had seen go to the bar with my daughter in law "ill serve you next" Very poor service. The pub is poorly lit which does not create an ambience it merely looks dingy. Portion sizes are reasonable and not overly expensive, that said when the side salad is the tastiest thing on your plate it's not that good value.

Excellent visit with great food and atmosphere. Fantastic dog friendly pub serving good value drinks and really tasty food (we had the lamb burger with feta and caramelised onion from the Specials board, the halloumi fajitas and the chicken fajitas). Especially loved the singer Connor Lawlor, who was brill and took my request to do a excellent cover of Tom Perry’s Free Fallin’ - a wonderful night out!
