Shout out to lovely lady on reception when we arrived at 830 and the lady on in restraunt. Without doubt this is a very busy Hote/ and Toby Inn. The hotel does need a bit of maintance and attention to detail in a few places. Having said that the staff certainly in the hotel more than make up for any niggling things not working, etc. Cath and Tracey were eceptionally excelent in ensuring everyone had all they needed whilst staying. I will be staying again without doubt.

Decent hotel for an overnight trip to visit family. Good value breakfast in the morning given that a child under 12 eats free when an adult meal is ordered. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. It was really nice to see their treatment and support for other guests at the hotel who needed additional help. They took time to listen, understand and support and were warm, genuine and compassionate.

We needed to be near the hospital. The staff were wonderful and helpful at a stressful time. We couldn’t have wished for a more caring team. The room was fine, the bed supremely comfortable. A little noisy at times as the corridor fire door was by our room. Otherwise we couldn’t fault it.

Our second visit, on both occasions the staff on Reception & in the restaurant have been polite & friendly, no matter how busy they are. Plenty of choice at breakfast, particularly enjoyed the scrambled eggs.

We have visited this premier inn several times and had a great experience , not this time .room terrible , window looks over a wooden fence , can live with that , room next to kitchen with extractor fans going at all hours , our window overlooked the passageway to the kitchen , staff chatter delivery men , bin noise early am , so so bad , we pay more for less quality , Why ? Told staff when we where leaving , offered a free breakfast , no thank you , all we wanted was a good night sleep for the nights we stayed, you should have told us they said , we had travelled 150 miles , booked in unpacked and had a cup off tea , do we want do pack all over again , NO all we want is a a quiet room , not a lot to ask , could go on and on , room was clean , staff no where near as friendly , went to desk on arrival put in our car registration completely ignored, we asked if we could check in , Oh you want to check in ! , no greeting , no smile. , no acknowledge until them , at least the girl who looked like she was going off duty checked us in , more than can be said for the man who did not even look up from his computer screen . we passed through reception several times , before we’ve have always been greeted with a smile , Offered local, advice and knowledge not now , too much trouble to look up and say hello.Prices have gone up standards gone down , so disappointed , Premier inn you have ruined our stay , left tired and upset .
