Blandest food I have had since school dinners.Do NOT expect the food to come us as it is shown on the pictures or you will be a disappointed as I am.Presentation is extremely poor, the taste isn't much better, I'm here for 4 nights and the next 3 nights certainly wont be spent here having my dinner, I would rather have a meal deal from a fast food chain starting with "Mc"

Lovely meals, very efficient clear information about food allergies. Bar staff very friendly and quick.Dietary restrictions: Clear information in a folder for food allergens and clear statements from staff on how your food and plates/cutlery will be resented.
Would definitely recommend giving this place a try! We really enjoyed our food and drinks, wasn’t overly busy but had great service by Ryan and will be back

Popped in for a late lunch with my partner. We decided to eat from the daytime menu which was excellent value. We both had a starter and main and really enjoyed our food, everything was tasty and cooked perfectly. The staff were really helpful even when they were quite busy

Great day out for Mother’s Day!I appreciate that this day is the busiest day of the year for restaurants. So great full you could fit us in with a full restaurant.Slight wait on food but to be expected on Mother’s Day.Keep up the good work. Mitch was amazing and looked after us as best he could.

Went here for Valentines night. Food was great, good value, was delivered quickly and well cooked. Full marks to "Mitch" who was friendly, attentive, and couldn't do more to keep his customers happy. Mitch is a credit to the Beefeater chain and I hope he sees this review. Will definitely dine here again next time we visit.

Went for mothers day so called mums eat free deal, couldn't have been anymore disappointed.4 of us went 2 chose three course meals, 2 chose main and dessert. The 2 starters arrived in pretty good time and weren't too bad, then we waited 1 full hour without the plates even been cleared from starters, before the mains arrived, all were barely lukewarm one steak wasnt too bad the other was awful, chips cold, the burger was in a dry bun and very small and my roast dinner was barely warm, tenderstem broccoli was rock hard as were parsnips,gravy was so thin Yorkshire had sucked it up and was then a sponge, peas and carrots take some not getting right but of course they were cold too. So hungry we nibbled what we could and cancelled desserts as I was by then thoroughly disappointed. Table of 4 next to us had same problems one of their steaks was inedible shoe leather. They did deduct desserts we didnt have off bill, but still we ended up paying nearly 60quid for absolute trash. Waitress was lovely bless her and so sorry we had such a bad experience, not her fault and an awful position for her to be put in, she did her best in what must have been a horrible day to work. Wont be going back!

Food was good. I wouldn't give it excellent. Service was pretty bad. Waiting staff didn't seem to be aware. Brought main course whilst one of us still eating the starter. Then left the starter plates on the table until we finished mains. Last time we went it was good but they let themselves down this time. Probably won't go there again.

We recently stayed at the premier inn next door to the Millfield Beefeater and we had such a great experience. Mitch was our server and he was so friendly and welcoming. The service was great and the food was delicious and came out in good time. For breakfast, the next morning, one of our party needed gluten free and Mitch brought out a menu and it was all cooked separately and fresh for her. Would highly recommend this restaurant.Dietary restrictions: Really good gluten free menu
