“It was my first visit with my friend and we decided to have fish and chips outside even though it was rather a grey day. Our lunch was an absolute treat despite the weather. We received such friendly helpful service at this immaculate and modern looking Fish & Chip Cafe. The fish was very tasty, beautifully white & cooked to perfection in light crispy batter. Our chips were the best I've eaten and made the whole meal an extraordinary experience. Even our cup of tea was delicious too.It was such a pleasure to have our lunch at the White Horse Cafe and my friend and I have been talking about it all day. Thankyou very much.. My friend and I decided to try Katch on a whim last night, no reservation, just hoping for the best. I'm so glad we did. Despite showing up unannounced, the staff were incredibly welcoming.
What struck me immediately was how genuinely friendly and attentive the service was. Our server checked in just enough without being intrusive, and the food arrived quickly.
The menu offers great value for money, you can enjoy a proper meal and drinks without breaking the bank, which is refreshing these days. The food was well-prepared, flavourful, and clearly made with care. Everything arrived hot and perfectly cooked. It's the kind of place that feels unpretentious and welcoming, perfect for both planned dinners and spontaneous meet ups like ours.
