Didn't sample any food as only popped in for a drink, but there were plenty of happy customers dining. Would definitely stop for a meal next time.

Great food. Lovely staff. Stayed in the motorhome in the car park overnight. Large and flat, free to stay if using the pub/restaurant. Overall a nice little pub.Parking: Large and flat, plenty of room for campers/motorhomes without disrupting locals in their cars.Kid-friendliness: There were kids in the restaurant.

NOT IMPRESSED but didn't even get as far as our table, my wife and I booked a table for our 18th Wedding anniversary and as we hadn't been for many years when we last lived in Northallerton we thought we would revisit. We arrived a little earlier than our 5pm booking so that we could enjoy a pre dinner drink only to find the place in darkness and car park empty which was concerning. When I knocked on the door we were told that they didn't open till 5pm due to staff shortages even though the website said otherwise. It got to about 5.10pm and there was no sign of any other customers so as we did not want to be the only ones in the pub with no atmosphere we decided to leave and grab Fish & Chips on the way home.NOT IMPRESSED as it spoilt our Anniversary occasion.
