Brilliant, met upon arrival by the owner who was exceptionally polite and friendly. Food was excellent, fresh, hot and all dishes were 5☆ and could not be faulted. Unfortunately we are not local so might be a while before returning but would highly recommend going. First class.

Warm welcome from the staff. We were seated in the cosy & historic part of the pub. There is a further modern dining room. A good choice of home cooked food. We enjoyed carvery of the day (roast pork) and steak pie, both served with a good selection of seasonal vegetables. The meat in both dishes was excellent. Portions were large so we had to decline the tempting dessert options and opt for a good cup of coffee.

Visited here whilst on holiday in the area. Oh my goodness! The steak and ale pie was the best I can remember for a long time. Fresh veg. And the chips! So good. Let's have a light dessert I said. I'll have the trifle! Well look at the photo, it wasn't small! But very yummy! Friendly staff. Overall what you would want from a traditional good pub. Thank you! Hope to be back!

Amazing fish pie made freshly that morning - not made then frozen - the pie was accompanied with a good portion of fresh veg - just right - not mushy or tasteless. Hubby had steak pie, chips and veg - shortcrust pastry just as he likes it - he really enjoyed it. Came out knowing we were full for a change not wanting more with no room for a desert.

A lovely welcome, good atmosphere, gentle jazz music and beautiful food. A great experience.
First time here for many years. Friendly welcome, lasagne was excellent , as was the chicken pie. This is real pub food , but no frozen vegetables all proper cooked food. The chips need a special review of their own, I have rarely tasted such good chips . Will be returning soon . I highly recommend

Fabulous place in a lovely village. The proprietors are exceptional hosts. Very friendly and warm. Food was delicious also. Chicken and leek, beef & ale pies and the prawns to start were amazing. Massively recommend.

The Crosby Inn is a lovely cosy, village pub and restaurant. We received such a warm welcome from the owners and enjoyed a fabulous lunch, the menu left us spoiled for choice. The prawn cocktail, crispy battered prawns, chicken & leek pie and steak and ale pie with veg were all absolutely delicious! It definitely gets five stars from us, we're already looking forward to our next visit. Many thanks for your hospitality.
