Great experience. Landlord and landlady were lovely. Been round the whole of Northallerton and this was the only pub only one that made us feel welcome. As soon as we came in they were attentive and friendly which made us feel so welcome and safe.

We had a nice drink here unfortunately at the time of our arrival in the afternoon only one other drinker was in this pub but all pubs are like that now ,I did see a very old picture of the town on the wall and I was told it is one of many that are going up on the wall soon so I might come back just to see them also if you like horse and dog racing this pub has two large screens showing a racing channel

Like the cheap prices. Landlady could do with been a bit more customer friendly as she asked what you want as pouring your pint she talks to people sat at end of bar not been bothered about customer she serving.
