“A very atmospheric place, a little lost in time, which for what it is is absolutely perfect. It's an olde worlde tea shop, where the pace is much slower, the staff aren't in your face and everything is just nicer, including the food which is excellent and well prepared. There is a takeaway bakery here too, which was really busy all the time we were here, which says everything you need to know - if it wasn't good, people wouldn't come! Every self respecting town could do with a Bothams, a generous slice of cake, with a generous slice of nostalgia and well worth a visit.”

“Walked up to Cafe Cocoa as I didn’t fancy the Premier Inn breakfast and I’m very glad I did. Excellent food and very friendly service. It is cash only but well worth a trip to the cash point for!”
