All staff were superb throughout. Prices were very reasonable. We can highly recommend the seafood risotto and tagliatelle carbonara.

Wrelton Cliff Rd, PickeringMy wife and I visited The Buck for our Evening meal on Friday 15th December 2025. The pub is old and has a feeling of comfort and homeliness about it. At the time we went it was pleasantly cosy. There were not so many people in but as time went on the pub got busy. The two ladies who served us were lovely and helpful. The Meal was fabulous and we didn't have to wait long untill we got our food. The pub had a special feeling that only an old building can. It was Beautiful inside and out. Definitely want to return some day Soon.

The Rose Inn Pub
Bridge St, PickeringCalled here with a friend for a drink the pub is friendly inviting and well kept. There is a huge dog called duke who is definitely the main attraction of the pub although he isn't the owners dog just one of the locals. He is very friendly with other dogs and loves a stroke.we had not eaten the the stars are just based on that and nothing else

From the moment you walk through the door, the welcome is warm and inviting. The owner and staff really couldn't be any more accomodating to wants or needs.
The food is absolutely sublime! Each course was cooked with precision and perfection. If you want quick, cheap food, go elsewhere. If you want quality, freshly cooked, beautiful food in a relaxed and welcoming environment then this is your place. It is definitely somewhere I will revisit when I'm in the area again.

The Middleton Arms
Church Ln, PickeringVisited today 29 March. Received a warm and friendly welcome from the owner/landlord who quickly showed us to our table. We ordered Scampi and Roast Pork, followed by Lemon Merringue Pie. Our food arrived in a timely manner, served hot, cooked to perfection, was plentyfull and tasted delicious. The price was reasonable for the service and quality that we received.
We had a very enjoyable all round experience.
We would recomend and return next time that we are in the area.

Very friendly welcome, delicious bacon and mushroom bap, a sausage and egg bap served with the best cappuccino and latte that we have had for a long time. Great value and free parking outside. Highly recommended for an early breakfast before a walk.

PickeringWhat a smashing little cafe. We happened across it and thought we'd go in before the rush and I'm so pleased we did. Fantastic value for money, service with a smile and lovely fresh cooked food, what more could you want. Take away tea and coffee £1. Literally, next door is a Costa, which cost a ridiculous amount. Dog friendly too, would highly recommend

We met the gent that delivered our pizza at the front of the park and he was lovely! We got pizzas, burgers and the chicken Parmo and was it delicious, would recommend will definitely be ordering again when we are back. Thank you chicos pizzeria ?

Great selection of drinks but the standout was really friendly barman on both occasions we were welcomed by friendly barmen who were happy to chat and swop banter . Did not intend to get some chips,but daughter and grandaughter were hungry.I was wary as I have used this chippy in the past and it was awful. Anyway got a portion of chips each to eat outside. We all said they were the best cooked chips we have had from anywhere! Piping hot,crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy inside. absolutely gorgeous! The young gent cooking and serving them was so friendly(sorry didnt get his name) First class service! would def go again.
