Sorry but the food was not the best for us, quality bread, but to the cakes where quite poor. Service was very good. The place was rough and ready, poor eclectic furnishings.

We love popping in for a quick coffee in the morning. They make it as we like it - we can be a pest sometimes, “please not too full, no milk, but not too much extra hot water or it wont be as smooth…”. Great team, who just take on board the requests of the customers happily. Thanks guys. We’ve cleared you out of some of your last cakes too, which have always been indulgent - one day must try the breakfast and lunch.

Visited this morning with my 2 children, was around 10am and we were lucky to get a table, obviously a very popular cafè. All staff were very friendly and greated with smiles on arrival. Nice open plan layout and kitchen. We were served promptly, me and my son had the full yorkshire breakfast and my daughter had the pancakes with berries. All was delicious, good quality and we didnt have to wait long. We will be back... sooner rather than later i am sure!!

We called in for lunch on a day trip to Pickering and it didn't disappoint. They had specials on the board and their soup and sandwich deal was delicious! Service was quick and the staff were very welcoming and friendly. Would definitely recommend!

Absolutely superb! Delicious homemade scones, which were fluffy, flavoursome and fresh from the oven, served with a good portion of butter and a generous individual pot of jam, followed by really delicious coffees. The coffee shop was clean and the staff were genuinely lovely, chatty, helpful and very efficient. Our order arrived quickly and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Feast. A very highly recommended coffee shop.

Delicious fresh food & good coffee served by lovely helpful staff.Dietary needs were happily accommodated.Dietary restrictions: Happy to alter items to make them vegan friendly. The poached egg was exchanged for mushrooms. An attractive & delicious plate of food.

We visited to order breakfast and it was a mildly busy morning but a few empty tables so nothing too taxing. After being seated and given menus two more tables behind us filled up. The waitress took the orders of those two tables before us and, after waiting 15-20 minutes, I asked a passing waitress if we could order. This waitress who then took the order was quite rude, she told us there was a wait on food which was fine, but I then asked how long she thought it was be… I didn’t even finish my question before she cut me off and snapped ‘I don’t know’. It was pretty awkward, I get she may have been stressed but no need to be rude. It then took 20 minutes for 2 glasses of water, 2 bottles of fresh orange and 1 latte to arrive at our table. The next waitress was much nicer, she came back to say there would be a 45 minute wait on the food and would we like to stay or cancel our order. We asked if we could discuss and then we’d let her know. She said that was fine We heard her relay this to the chef who then said ‘well that’s not good is it because if they fanny about making a decision I might have already started their food’. The chef clearly wasn’t interested that we could hear as we were seated next the kitchen and could see her. The 2 star rating is just because of the one nice waitress we had and she seemed genuinely sorry that things weren’t running on time. Everybody else was rude and clearly having customers in general was just an inconvenience to them.

Stopped in for a quick lunch today, sat upstairs as a very warm day and air con was very welcome! Service was great and efficient, staff were lovely and food was tasty! Reasonably priced, nothing bad to say at all. Would come here again, thank you.

Best full English I have had for many years - and I have had a few! Fantastic local ingredients: tastiest sausage, prime bacon, chives sprinkled on the eggs. Seems to be run by an all girl crew who are young but incredibly competent. Equivalent to the English Lions womens football team. Have to applaud

Regular breakfast spot when visiting Pickering. Usual breakfast items, including porridge, breakfast sandwiches etc. Food is always consistently good. There are also a good choice of cakes available which goes great with a coffee. Service is great, our dogs always get a lot of fuss.Parking: On street parking just outside Feast.
