We stayed nearby and had used this place a few years ago. The service was quick as we were the first customers after opening and the food was very tasty although my wife wasn't a massive fan of the fried rice. The surprise was the price as dishes were a couple of pounds dearer in Yorkshire than down south in Bedfordshire, I always though the north was cheaper and Yorkshire men traditionally tight with their money? The other Chinese in Pickering also has similar prices so not an isolated occurrence.

We had a fantastic takeaway from here whilst on holiday nearby. Shame they didn’t do delivery but it all tasted amazing and fresh!

Great delicious food, just need to update their price list drastically, very outdated.

Staying near by and this is the best Chinese takeaway we have had in a long time, salt and pepper prawns, crispy chicken balls, plain chow mein and chips. Better than our Chinese at home by far

First takeaway for us from Lees.Salt & Pepper chips - not very spicy but not frozen fried chips either, so was a nice change.Special fried rice was massive with plenty of mixed meats and huge prawns and egg fried top. It was delicious!Special green pepper and black bean sauce was amazing! Packed full of mixed meat, garlic chillies, and black beans, so had a nice kick to itWould definitely order from here again when next in Pickering. The total price was £5 higher than equivalent in our hometown, but worth it IMHO

We came to North Yorkshire this weekend from Gloucester and decided we would take a Chinese back to our rental cottage.I must say the Chinese takeaway we had from Lee’s Chinese Kitchen is one of the best if not the best Chinese takeaway we have ever had.Great quality ingredients and the portion was hugeHighly recommend
The worst chippy i have been meals are bland tastless got 3 meals here and all were bland and fried rice you have to buy seperate if uou want it with a meal rip off when most chippys do the rice with a meal overpriced for what the meals are tastless STAY AWAY RIPOFF

Found Lee's last year on holiday. Good menu choices and very tasty. Returned this year - just as good - recommended.

Beef and chicken curry comes with mushrooms but not mentioned on the menu. Just used to make the dish bigger and increase profits. If I had wanted mushrooms I would have ordered a beef and mushroom dish.Do not recommend.
