Firstly we didn't eat......In my honest opinion this is the best place in Pickering to have a beer.Spotlessly clean,and the loo's,great choice of drinks from the bar including a great pint of Guiness,really nice atmosphere from the local people(especially Graham)and if Halle is on behind the bar your sorted.100%Genuine and honest review.

Lots of lager and cider on offer with 2 ales on tap. Friendly staff. Tvs were on sports channels definitely locals using the pub. Nice and relaxed and the dog was welcome.

One of my regular haunts so maybe I'm a bit biased, but I think they have the difficult task of being all things to all people, but they do encourage a positive atmosphere overall through the opening times of their long day, 7 days a week.

Went in for Sat night drinks. Not overly busy served quickly at the bar, ample room to sit down. Plentiful staff on the bar.Unfortunately the toilets are downstairs now, the ladies are smaller just 2 cubicles making it a wait for the loo. Which were out of toilet roll and Could have don't with a clean. Especially when there was plentiful staff on the bar.It was getting on for 9pm so I was a little surprised to still see lots of younger children upstairs charging around as their parents were drinking.

Visited last night, still have the table service which is fine , great atmosphere as the music went into the 90's era, dancing at the tables and even the staff joined in , brilliant ??, my first ever visit , will definitely go again , thanks for a great end to the night out
