Lovely clean pub, nice atmosphere, staff welcoming and friendly. Well behaved dogs allowed (on lead) dog bowls available on request if not seen. Always nice and warm inside, covered ouside area next to a newly cleared Pickering beck. Hand pulled beers, ciders, wines. Guinness, many different Gins and soft drinks. Reasonable prices, would reccommend. Books are available to read at the pub. along with many games for children and adults alike to play. Seating with beckside views available inside and out.

Best pub in Pickering. Great people. Great pints. The only issue is idiots who rock up for one night in Pickering with no idea on what they like to drink. Have zero manners or respect and think the world owes them something. We pay for a service. If you're rude I'd expect you to get told to swivel. You should be used to it by

Popped in for a drink, clean, nice pub with lovely outdoor area. They were taking down the Christmas tree so felt a bit early / unwelcoming. Would visit again some time.

Visited on a sat evening with my husband. Beer nice but more expensive than all other pubs we had been to that evening. When we arrived there wasnt anyone behind the bar, we waited a few minutes & was about to leave when a lady came in to serve us, no service with a smile & not even a sorry for keeping you waiting. Plenty of people were inside so Found a seat at back wich was pleasent but only had the 1 & went back to bay horse

Found this pub on Friday night and visited again Saturday evening as they had a live band on. Brilliant atmosphere and enjoyed chatting with the friendly landlady We thoroughly enjoyed our visits and found the drinks to be fairly priced bearing in mind you are in a holiday 'town' We will visit again when back in the area. Loved your 3 pugs too ??
