Stopped here for a delicious lunch while on our breakaway. Lunch options are paninis, sandwiches, quiche, soup etc. Also had a lovely selection of desserts, I can vouch for the fruit scone, clotted cream and jam! Licensed bar with very drinkable house wine. The staff were really welcoming and friendly. Enjoyed it so much we decided to come back again before we went home.

Popped in on the off chance we could get a quick meal before catching our train back to Goathland in an hour. Was greeted by a friendly lady who said they’d be happy to accommodate us and showed us to our table. We were soon given menus and our drinks order was taken. As soon as the drinks arrived, we ordered food. I chose the Ploughman’s lunch, and my husband chose the ham and cheese panini band loaded fries. It didn’t take too long for the food to arrive, and all I can say is….wow!! I’ve never seen a Ploughman’s as big or as well put together as that, and my husband was just as impressed with his choices! The staff were lovely, and very attentive to our needs and deadline, and luckily, offered a box for me to take some of my ploughman’s home in, as I couldn’t manage it all!! This place is a real gem, and if I lived closer, I’d make it a regular stop off!!

Went in for coffee then decided to go back for lunch. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and polite. The food was amazing and hot !!!!! It was very clean and the loo was exceptional. Well done to you all for a super nice place to eat. Thankyou.

Fabulous place we found whilst visiting Pickering. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Plenty of choice and the food was delicious. My husband wanted a breakfast but we'd just missed the cut off time, however they kindly still did one for him. Would highly recommend and we will return.

We had good teas and coffees and snacks, with the added bonus of spotless toilets.

We had a gorgeous lunch here. Can highly recommend their cheese and onion scones and soup combo. Staff were lovely and helpful topping up our teas etc. The cakes looked delicious but would have been too full to get back on bikes afterwards! NB this would be a good cycling cafe stop as there are bike rails on the pavement opposite Sorry I had no cash to leave a tip - I hope this review brings lots more business your way!

This cafe serves the best cheese scones in Pickering, even better toasted. Staff are great and it's always a pleasure to go there.

Came into Pickering on a very frosty December afternoon. We walked up the hill from where we'd parked spotted two cafes and plumped for one on the left and what a good choice it was! We settled in amongst a variety of diners some obviously regulars and a homely atmosphere prevailed which felt very welcoming. We had great food (toasted tuna melt and soup) . The visit was made memorable by the lovely staff who within a few minutes felt like friends. Had great banter talking about the delights of visits to Blackpool - a hearty laugh and joke was had. Sending the staff our best regards

Just had the most uninspired, cheapo and rubbish fish finger sandwich that I have ever had the misfortune to witness. Two tiny, thin and tasteless fingers plonked between two slices of bread! Served with a bowl of bog standard chips for a tenner! Ridiculous.

A lovely place, we were greeted and seated straight away and the food (pigs in blankets sandwich) and coffee were perfect.

Been here a few times now. Great service and probably the best coffee in Yorkshire! Very accommodating with my fussy children and the option of baileys or mulled wine definitely a bonus during a festive trip!
