Best coffee and breakfast service I’ve had in Redcar at 0700 on a Saturday morning! Think some should moderate their previous feedback? Maybe it’s been acted on now by staff…

I normally have a good experience in Costa Redcar in Tesco, but today I asked for 2 mint mochas, which are usually my favourite this time of year, but both me and my partner felt like we were drinking mint mouth wash. There was far too much syrup in it, we couldn't taste the chocolate or coffee, it wasn't drinkable at all. So I took them back in and kindly explained that they weren't drinkable and that the mint was too strong. The young man who served me the drink in the first place didn't apologise at all and made me 2 fresh mocha's without the mint. But as he was doing so I could see him chatting and laughing to his colleague about the situation which then made me feel like I had done something wrong. I never complain if I'm not happy about something usually, as it's way out of my comfort zone, but after paying over £8 for the 2 large mochas I expect them to be drinkable.I think that if you expect people to pay the prices that you charge for coffee ect, then the customer service and the product should be made perfect for your customers.

Yes it's a Costa like any other Costa. Yes it is rather expensive. Yes it sells coffee and cake... but it's the staff here that make it a lovely place to go. It's where my daughter and I go when we need some peace from a houseful of kids!

In 30' heat!! Highs and lows. A window seat for 4, and dirty crockery removed as soon as we arrived. Fairly swift ordering but the process is flawed. One Cortado and One Iced Mocha, simples. (David Palmer). Our friends, are lactose intolerant, so additives need to be dairy free. I ordered a Cappuccino with Oat Milk and an Iced Coffee with Soya Milk. Waiting to collect our order, I got talking to the Barista. Checked the order as each drink was prepared. I confirmed the Oat and Soya Milks to which she responded, "there is nothing on the order"! A close shave, our friends could both have been made ill if I had not double checked... Hayling Seagoon

Costa Coffee in Redcar is a very smart branch of the chain with stylish decor and seating. Service was efficient and the coffee was as good as expected. In short - this is a comfortable and really nice branch.

Yapi Market

Major chain coffee outlet with everything you'd expect. A great range of coffees, sandwiches, cakes and deserts. Friendly and helpful staff.
