I visited today with my 4 year old and my baby. Staff and customers were really helpful at helping me with the pram as I was on my own.My 4 year old really wanted dippy eggs and even though it wasn't on the menu the chef went out of his way and was happy to make them for him.Very tasty and reasonably prices and we will be back.Kid-friendliness: The staff always welcome my children

My second trip to Redcar and having seen the review of this place thought I would give it a try, as the waiter said you won't be disappointed, and I absolutely wasn't. I had the vegetarian breakfast and it was all cooked to perfection, well seasoned and a great portion, great coffee too, a fabulous atmosphere, decor and just really good, a must if you are in the townVegetarian options: Vegetarian breakfast a must!

We have visited One up on a number of occassions and we always recieve a very warm welcome. The surroundings are beautiful and the staff are warm and friendly and they serve outstanding food! I totally recommend trying One up?

We came here last Saturday for the first time, and to be honest, we had intended to try somewhere else first but the music at that restaurant was far too loud! We were both so glad we didn't go there.The service at One Up was great, the restaurant was very clean and fitted with contemporary furnishing. (I did like your map on the wall!)We made our visit though, the service and freshness of the food. It was 2.00p.m. when we arrived but the brunch menu was still available. I had the BLT sandwich and my partner had the falafel and hummus wrap, both came with home made chips. Everything was cooked to perfection.Service was friendly and attentive but not overly so. If we lived closer this place would be a regular visit!Thank youI've since seen some other reviews (admittedly very few) complaining about the prices. If you want cheaper then go elsewhere. I've paid a lot more for much lesser quality.A lovely visit and highly recommended.

I had a wonderful pre-Christmas lunch date with my friend. The food and atmosphere was excellent. The staff were friendly, attentive and efficient. I thoroughly enjoyed my time sitting next to the festive Christmas Tree, hai g catch-up chats and watching the sea from the window seats. Prefect ??

Lovely corner cafe for brisk mornings. The food is prepared with the care and attention and it really shows. Highly recommend the French toast, absolutely fantastic. But then again so is everything on the menu!Coffee is wonderful, even if you don’t have time to eat stop in for a coffee!Attentive, helpful staff who can’t do enough for you. A true gem on Redcar seafront and one of the best breakfasts I’ve had anywhere.
