Popped in to pick up fish and chips after a walk, fish freshly cooked, had small chips as we can't finish a normal size. I gave in and got myself a ferraro cake for dessert. The fish and chips were excellent as usual and the cake was divine, my new favourite. Staff are always pleasant and polite. Definitely the place to go for fish and chips.

This fish & chip shop is possibly the best one in Cleveland.It was taken over about 3 years ago by the current owner who really knows his stuff and offer a great range of food options, all of which are well cooked and presented.I highly recommend this place.

I'm gonna be honest, sometimes this place does really nice chips, but the last couple of times the chips and the battered sausage could definitely have done with being in a bit longer because they were a bit soggy.

Read about the f&c shop and was intrigued to see what was like and was not disappointed. The fish (haddock) was perfectly cooked and the chip's delicious. Reasonably priced and excellent service. 10/10!

Called in for post beach walk fish and chips. Our food was cooked to order and the fish was delicious, breaking up into large bright white flakes. There was a good choice of options and we came away with the impression that the guy who served us, really cared about his food and customer service. Happy to recommend, it's well worth a five minute walk from the beach.Kid-friendliness: The children's menu had a couple of options that included a drink for £3.50 and the portions were more than enough for an eight and ten year old.
