“Wandered in looking for an evening meal on 22/09/2023 as we were in self-catering accommodation. It was incredibly busy which I find unusual nowadays for a community pub. However the bar staff were friendly and helpful so we came back at teatime for food to find they had reserved us a table just in case we came back. How wonderful is this? So we 4 had a pub meal which was fine and a couple of drinks. The food servers were good as was the service. We only ate here once but came back every night for a drink until our short holiday was over. We all felt like we were recognised after our first visit and that made our experience even better. Lovely pub with lovely staff.”
