Great little village pub, homely, welcoming, very friendly and good staff. Car park to rear. Beer garden. Has live music. Home cooked food. Handpulled cask beers were Butcombe Brewing Co's Chris Moose Yuletide Ale, Tiny Rebel's Sleigh Puft Triple Chocolate Nougat Marshmallow Porter, (!!!) wow, what a great pub ! All staff & locals so friendly. We called in for Dinner on a Friday night whilst staying in a near by village with no pub. Rang ahead & asked to book a table & if we could bring our dog, nothing from this moment on was too much trouble for the owners. Good pub grub, not fine dining, but tasty, piping hot, top service, fast service, great beer, what more can you want ? Great pub, lovely food and friendly staff. Nice level, quiet and enclosed carpark where we were allowed to stay over in our campervan. Toilets and water were available while the pub was open. Thank
