Great location, staff seem lovely, the food is massively overpriced and under par. For the 6 orders that went in, none were as per the menu.

Great base for touring the dales. Cosy pub, real fires, real ales and a welcoming family run hostelry.

Stayed for 2 nights recently, warm welcome, proper hearty food and a great range of beers and spirits. Treats for the dog. Roaring fires in a very welcoming bar, staff excellent and friendly. Pub nicely situated as a base for exploring the expansive countryside, loads of walkers and cyclists. Place just needs a lick of paint here and there but apart from that it’s a proper pub. Recommended!
