Had a great experience at Royal India. The service was excellent — staff were very polite and welcoming throughout. The food was really tasty and everything was reasonably priced for the quality and portions. It’s a great place for a family dinner, with a nice atmosphere and good overall experience. Would definitely recommend.??????

Morro Lounge

Meal out when we had visitors. Food was excellent and everyone really enjoyed their meal. The tapas option is fantastic for anyone who has a small appetite or wants to try several different items.

The Cavern Music Bar

Spent many a year wondering when this place opened, so much so it became a personal legend. On finally entering we were met with amazing cocktails, great service and the owner and co was fantastic. As we now live in Richmond, we will be back often.

Costa Coffee

The staff here are absolutely amazing. If there was a way to give a higher score for the staff I would. They are always so lovely and greet you with a smile and a good chat!

Pizza Pronto of Richmond

Amazing service, amazing pizza.
My son may have got our order mixed up tonight and brought home a cheese free pizza with stuffed crust ?‍?. Quick phone call to the shop and another one was made. No fuss. No issue. No hassle. Just an amazing cheese free pizza, freshly made.

Love this place.
The staff are outstanding, polite & very helpful over the menu. Especially with the allergy information & suggestions. Nothing is to much trouble. All complimented by a varied menu excellently prepared & served.

The Bishop Blaize

I went there to meet with friends from the Samaritans on Friday.
The food was outstanding. I had scampi and chips. The chips were hand cut with skins on, just how I like them. The scampi was crispy and hot. It came with peas and pea shoots which were also delicious.
The atmosphere inside was great with music playing in the background. The staff were brilliant.
Of course I had to visit the gents toilet as nature called, and they were spotlessly clean, with no foul smell.
Well worth another visit.

Number 29 Tapas Bar

One of our favourite eating out destinations food and service is always top notch ?
Usually share 6 Tapas between 2 and love to mix n match but one of my favourites is the Chorizo in tomato ? and Haggis with cream sauce ?
Service is fantastic and food comes out pretty quickly.
Hand pulled ales are well kept ?

Shoulder Of Mutton Kirby Hill

Friendly pub in fantastic location with genuinely home cooked and tasty food. Well looked after ales. Very clean. Excellent poached eggs for breakfast. Dog friendly too.

Two Dales Bakery

Lovely gem of a cafe we found when every single other cafe in reeth was closed before christmas. We had a soup and a lamb moussaka which was absolutely delicious. Really friendly staff too.

My only comments would be to offer cream with the brownie when eating in and more bread (even if you have to pay a bit extra) with the soup and hot dishes.

The Angel Inn

Great local pub with superb homemade food, menu changes all the time, so you never get bored of the same food. Would always recommend booking a table, especially if you have a dog with you as they are allowed but only in the bar area.

The Castle Tavern

Had a bottomless brunch, absolutely amazing and service was outstanding and so friendly.
Definitely recommend food was out of this world, all the little extra touches were lovely

The Talbot Hotel

This place is wonderful landlady was brilliant beer was spot on and the locals very nice people would recommend you visit it when in Richmond it's in the market places all sports and cheap drinks what more do you need very clean toilets we're in good condition and clean

The Turf Hotel

One night stay for 2 adults 1 child. Friendly staff. Good location. Clean a d tidy. Thick towels. Comfy beds. A bit tired in places but perfect for what we needed. Full English breakfast was delicious. Recommended

Red Lion Inn

Traditional old fashioned pub. Land lady has been here over 60 years!!! Understand some people aren’t happy about the no children / dog rules but we sat outside with our dog and was fine with that. Landlady and her sister were lovely, very friendly people who I’m sure have some extremely interesting stories to tell.

The Brownlow Arms

Went for our wedding anniversary and was not disappointed. The food choice was amazing and the quality and quantity was superb. Only trouble was too full to sample dessert. A reason to revisit.

The Unicorn

This is a budget accommodation but it's great, the location is genuinely brilliant, it's located in a little square with parking outside which is free for 2 hours at a time as long as a blue badge is displayed which is supplied from the accommodation and this can be used all over Richmond. Rooms are basic but clean and the bed in the family room is very comfortable, received a warm welcome from the landlady and staff, really hope we get the opportunity to visit again

Absolutely magnificent food and service! A real gem! Huge compliments to the chef and all staff - we truly haven’t ever had a better experience than this. Some of the best food we’ve ever had! 5 stars ?

Forge at Middleton Lodge Estate

As much an experience as a culinary delight. We went for our wedding anniversary and from the moment you enter you know it will be special. We enjoyed the taster menu (with the cheese course) and everything was beautifully presented and a joy to eat. Ingredients are sourced locally and you are enlightened as to what these are, how they have been prepared and how to get the best from the course by the chef who prepared it. This isn't a grab some food on a whim type of affair but a rare treat that you'll talk about until the next time you go and get more to add to your tale to tell. Fantastic food, servers, chefs and atmosphere and the signed anniversary card and dessert were a lovely touch. Exceptional.

Couldn't recommend this place more.
Cakes always look and taste amazing.
Coffee is amongst the best in town.
The ladies give the best service, they are always happy, chatty and welcoming.

Nice little spot. Good prices, decent line up of beers

Dog friendly, sports on the telly, old pub feeling - quite small but not a bad thing, been a fair few times and will defo be back again

Tasty Macs

We were on holiday from Spain and found Tasty Macs on Google.There was 10 of us, we ordered 10 sandwiches, 4 baked potatoes with piri piri chicken and a pasta salad.The food was made very quickly even with there been so many of us.The sandwiches and potatoes were delicious and the pasta salad got the approval of the children.Hope to visit again soon.Rebecca

What an absolutely diamond of a cafe, I had a large breakfast, which was one of the best breakfasts I have had, the girls are so friendly. Top notch 5 stars could quite easily be 6.

I used to get Pizza Pronto each time I was in Richmond and now I've ordered from here I won't be going back, the pizza here was the best I've had in a long time! I will definitely order again, thank you! :)

Capri

Every time we visit we have the King Prawn Indiana which is available GF.
My son always has a GF pizza, I pick either a Ziza Pizza or a Chicken dish. Tonight I had the Pollo Milanese. I’ve had this elsewhere because unfortunately most of the local restaurants offer the same dishes. However I prefer it here because the Spaghetti served with the chicken has fresh roasted tomatoes in it unlike other local restaurants.
The waiter was pleasant and helpful. As regulars the staff usually remember our preferences which is a nice touch. The waiter this evening remembered us from visiting a different Italian (the one over the dry cleaners) which we no longer frequent, so considering he hasn’t served us for at least 6 months the fact he remembered our drinks order and preferences was impressive!

Barkers Of Richmond

Went into the restaurant 20th March, about 16.30, served by a lovely lady that couldn’t do enough for us, didn’t catch her name, but thank you!
Had the set fish chips and curry, with bread and butter cup of tea. Sadly, couldn’t face the dessert that came within the price!
Very enjoyable and hot on arrival. Portions very generous and price very welcoming!
Will be returning hoping to be served by that lovely lady again ☺️

Holly Hill Inn

I had a lovely stay here on the weekend. The staff were fantastic and made me feel very welcome. The food was great and the room had a great view overlooking Richmond. Would definitely return in the future!

Fratellos

Superb meal at Fratello’s, with very friendly and helpful staff. There’s a lot of thought (and skill) goes into the menu and the meal was just wonderful. Always worth checking out the Specials. Trust me, they’re awesome!
The Scotch Corner Hotel itself is a gem. It’s literally just off the A1 but feels like you’re well away from everything. Lovely bar with a wonderful atmosphere.

Sunrise Chinese Takeaway

After reading the mixed reviews thought I would give it a try. I wasn’t disappointed. The shredded beef was exactly as I like it, a little bit chewy, pecking sauce was nice just could have been spicer. Chicken with ginger and spring onion was delicious. Really tasty. Only let sown was the Salt and Pepper chips. Hardly any onions and peppers. Big portions.
