Red Lion Inn
Langthwaite, RichmondI called into the Red Lion in late December when I was walking in the area. A super cup of tea - the best in the area - which was perfect after walking in the drizzle! Rowena, the landlady, is very knowledgeable about the area and the premises has a lovely nostalgic feeling. I really recommend visiting.

Pizza Figaro
12A Rosemary Ln, RichmondI never usually leave reviews but the pizzas here have always been top tier. The Quindici (no 19) has always been my go to pizza locally. The chilli sauce is also the best around. Respect to the owner who has been working his tail off in there for years, a lot of the time alone with no other staff.

Shoulder Of Mutton Kirby Hill
Kirby Hill, RichmondThe Mother's Day Sunday lunch at The Shoulder of Mutton in Kirby Hill was a delightful experience. The cozy atmosphere, accompanied by friendly staff, created a warm and inviting setting. The menu featured a variety of delicious options, and the roast was particularly outstanding – tender and flavorful. The attention to detail in presentation and the overall dining experience made it a memorable occasion for celebrating Mother's Day.Additionally, the welcoming dog-friendly policy made it even more enjoyable. The establishment's accommodation of furry companions enhanced the family-friendly atmosphere, allowing everyone to partake in the celebration.A perfect spot for pet-loving families to share a delightful meal together.Highly recommended for those seeking a charming and tasty dining experience.

The Angel Inn
62 High St, Gilling West, RichmondI really think The Angel Inn in Gilling West deserves a positive mention. Popped in for a quick pint with a friend a few months ago after attending a Wildlife Trust Course in the village hall, and there were some people eating and obviously enjoying their meals. We decided we would take our other halves at some stage. We eventually got round to it last week and were joined by two other friends. The meals were outstanding and excellent value for money. Someone has to drive, but for those who don't, it's a cosy little village pub wich has a selection of lager/cider pumps plus three hand pull beers. Wine/prosecco etc. weren't overpriced. It's a drive out, but we will be going again. The menu changes daily, so you need to ring the pub to let them know you will be wanting food, usually later in the week, lunch/early afternoon, then evenings.

The Bishop Blaize
40 Market Pl, RichmondCame here a few weeks back with our dog and baby, it has loveliest bar and snug area with a fire! We got a sunday roast and could not fault it at all, alongside the service! Every member of staff were friendly but our server in particular made us feel so welcome and was the nicest girl, also brought out treats for our dog and made a fuss of him! So nice, we aren’t from the area but we will definitely be back when we visit again even just for the atmosphere and service alone! Thankyou x
