We went for Sunday lunch, 4 adults + baby.Where we sat we were very squeezed, not much space to even turn around. No facilities to change the baby. Waited for food quite a long time. Pork was very chewy. Then they forgot my desert. And when it came, it should be a cheesecake, it was runny thing in a pot, not set.

We played here tonight and what a lovely welcome we had ..we play darts for Hanson A and they even put a nice welcome above the bar thank you ..we did not expect any food because no were else does it even our pub..covid ?....Great bunch of lads thank you ..

Rarely do you come across a place like this that touches your heart. This pub is at the heart of a stunning village with incredible regulars who make it a dream to visit. I've never known such a welcoming place. It's been a real pleasure meeting a super bunch of people. They have left a lasting memory and I sincerely thank all of the regulars and Niall and Elaine for their incredible hospitality. I wish you all the very best with your future venutres. This is the best pub in the area. Niall and Elaine are superb hosts, and the locals make this a great pub to visit. My wife Jan and I have been visiting the pub every week for the last year and have been made to feel part of the pub family. They do not serve food but there is a Fish & Chip van visits every Thursday and you can eat your food in the pub while having a beer. What a great idea. !!
