Vegetarian options: They did vegan options which was great for a small light lunch and they had thought about it. It wasn't a lettuce and tomato sandwich which I've been offered before and they had soya and oat milk and vegan flapjack tooDietary restrictions: Great little humble cafe serving simple food. I'm vegan and it was great to see there was more than one option.

We had a day out in this lovely city and chanced on the Hive for lunch and glad we did! Hubby had a ploughmans lunch and i had a tuna crunch sandwich served with a good salad, dressing and crisps.Both were excellent value and tasty. Hubbys ploughmans was all good quality-the ham, cheese, pie, etc. Good coffee and yorkshire tea too! We took banana loaf and yorkshire tea loaf home-lush! We saw a lady and 3 young men serving-all very pleasant and helpfull.Seemed to be a few regulars in which is always a good sign.Thank you.

It’s easy to support new local businesses when they are this good. The freshly baked cakes/scones were just great as was the coffee. They have a good range of cakes and drinks available and a nice play area for young children. Friendly helpful staff and good prices. I suspect I will become a regular. ??☕️

Tucked in at the back of Halls of Ripon came across this great little coffee shop. Can highly recommend the cheese toasties, the cakes, sweets and of course the lovely coffee. All served by friendly staff. Glad we called in.
