Attitude - Visited Robin Hoods Bay today and wandered past this Cafe, my partner tried to get us a coffee to sit outside and before he had the chance to speak the gentleman behind the counter said rudely “I’m not taking any orders for the minute as catching up on the dishes”. Not very welcoming at all for such a picturesque location, hence we took our business elsewhere and won’t be returning in a hurry! Good luck with your business with that attitude mate!

Delicious bacon roll and coffee. The smell wafting down the street was what brought us in. Coffee was good and the bacon and sausage rolls were delicious. Only one guy on, who was cooking and serving so had to collect drinks etc from the till, but he’s very efficient.

Excellent. The guy is very friendly and helpful. I had a toasted ciabatta which came with all the trimmings and was excellent. Coffee excellent. Would definitely recommend.

A lovely little spot to stop and recharge before walking the hilly streets. Menu was limited as we arrived late in the day, but that's purely a reflection of how popular it is earlier on. Food was quick, delicious and well priced. Cake choice excellent! Dog friendly too provided they aren't too wet. The man working had to serve around 20 people alone, just while we were there, and was still cheerful and welcoming! Would definitely go again.

Soggy sandwiches , although one of our family had jacket potato which was ok. The man behind the counter not friendly at all and was quite rude . The other member of staff was friendly and was very busy.Would not visit again ? ?

The guy serving was working hard and coping well. The place is very small but if you get a table the coffee is superb and the cakes homemade and delicious.

When visiting Robin Hood Bay went here both mornings for breakfast. Food is freshly cooked, really tasty and very filling. Staff were busy but friendly and helpful. In my grandson's words, "scrumptious, delicious and amazing".

We came for breakfast, to be told they only had breakfast rolls. Fine - but the bacon had been pre-cooked and left under the grill to go cold and so had the sausage and eggs. This is definitely not in line with food & hygiene regulations. They werent cooked fresh, just served basically cold in rolls thick with butter. There was so much butter you could smell it! I did ask for no butter but got butter anyway. The bacon was really really fatty too. The toilet was dirty with no lock on the door. The lady serving was complaining at the top of her voice in earshot of the few customers that were in the place and wasnt very apologetic when we sent back the cold, fatty, buttery bacon roll. The only positive i can say about this cafe is that coffees were nice. I would avoid this place at all costs. Such a shame as its a cute little cafe that could be great.
