Went for Sunday lunch, the pub was super cosy and very welcoming. Portions just perfect after a good day walking, the steak pie and veg crumble were delicious! Can certainly recommend stopping by if you're in the area.

Nice pub in a quiet village, good selection of Yorkshire ales, bit pricey but worth it. Was lovely to sit outside with views of the village and church but was plenty of flies around

Attended a pizza and music night. Music great. Some staff more friendly than others. Bit of a mix up with food orders but all sorted out. Lovely area.

We ate here twice on our holiday because it was so good. The food was perfect both times, and the service was amazing by all the staff. The waitress who we saw on both evenings was so lovely and remembered my allergies and the extra effort and care was greatly appreciated! Thank you

A wonderful old pub full of character. The beer is well kept and the food and friendly staff is just great. Cannot comment on the rooms as we were only visiting for a meal. This establishment never disappoints!

Had a great home cooked meal. The service was professional and the lady on front of house was so kind to the boys. Nightmare getting there as the roads are so narrow but what a great classical English pub. Please try you will not be disappointed.
