A family lunch for 6 adults and 4 children. Generous portions of lovey presented food. The kids options were very well received. Adults all very satisfied with their meals and thought it great value for money. The lamb shank was succulent & tasty, the beef pie excellent, as was the haddock in chilli&lime sauce and the chicken options. Absolutely great find for warm welcome and excellent home cooked food. Beer was great too and a brilliant selection also. Darts and pool for those who like a game .Food & drinks: Home cooked

Didn't stop in rooms, just go there for darts and pool matches. Always friendly. Fab selection of real ales for me, at least 5 at any given time. Very spacious layout with separate games room, restaurant and bar. Food menu looks great. Beautiful location, just not brilliant after snow!
