“Fantastic little pub, tried the other pub in the village and that seemed to be more geared towards locals. From first setting foot in the brown cow we were welcomed as was Nina the Rhodesian Ridgeback and much fuss was made of her. Sadly didn’t get to try the food but looked and smelt fantastic, will certainly be calling back in during the next few months. Mac and Nina”

“Called in here after being recommended by a local. The food was excellent and the staff were lovely. It was cosy and warm with a roaring fire just what we needed to get out of the cold. We had fish and chips and scampi. The fish and scampi were beautiful and the chunky chips were a dream. The peas were piping hot and the salad was lovely and fresh. Would highly recommend, however let it all settle before the walk back up the hill.”
