Absolutely fantastic place to eat. Lovely atmosphere decorated to a really high standard. The service was superb the waiters were all really friendly and very helpful as we had a member of our party that was gluten free. There’s a car park to the rear. Pretty good Sunday roast, but a bit hit n miss... The beef was tough as old boots and the turkey dry. Most of the veg was boiled and lacked any seasoning. But there was loads of gravy and the cauliflower cheese and stuffing was amazing. Great service. Could do with some more interesting beers behind the bar.

Booked for Sunday lunch as we were staying at a b&b nearby and we were very impressed. Cosy dining area in the bar, nicely decorated for Christmas. Warm welcome too. The value for money of the roast for the size of portion received was excellent. Sadly we didn’t have room for all the veg… sorry! Felt nice to support a local pub too. Would definitely go again.
