“Lovely little pub and dog friendly too. Both our meals were delicious and certainly wasn’t the need for a starters as they were generous portions. Well worth a visit.”

“What a lovely find in this little village of Brotton. Called in first time just to break a walk from the Spar to the holiday accommodation. The staff were welcoming and friendly and the pints were very well priced. Booked to return for a meal on the saturday evening with my partner and little chihuahua. Omg I had the 10oz rump steak and I can honestly say it was the best steak I've ever had. It came with all the trimmings and melted just like butter. It was !!Amazing!! My partner had cajun chicken and I've never seen as many chicken breasts on one plate. Oh and let me tell you about the chips "crispy on the outside fluffy in the middle" John and Gregg would be tripping iver themselves to eat them ? they were excellent. Again the staff were both friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend this gem of a find if you're staying anywhere near Saltburn by the sea.”

“Was lovely pub..although there was someone near us smoking a vape and felt she shouldn't have been ..but the place is fab lovely n quirky ..food was lovely and there was a band in which was a treat...wod recomend..if they sorted the vapes out”

“It is one of those off the beaten track pubs. But definitely worth a visit. Plenty of choice of ales and lagers. The menu is enticing, we'll have to visit several times to sample all their stuff.Someone has to do it ?”
