“We aren't local but if in the area we often book in for a meal as we love the Sunday lunches here and the desserts are always outstanding.
I love the equestrian theme of the whole place and it's really well thought out with some quality touches.
We decided to stay over for a bit of a treat and it meant we could make the most of the cocktail bar upstairs.
The room was in the main building and really comfortable with a large bed, seating area and walk in shower. Nice little touches like a coffee machine and cosmetic amenities. I was a bit worried about the rooms being above the restaurant as I'm a light sleeper but the rooms are really quiet and we couldn't hear a thing from our neighbours or the bar areas.
Breakfast was served between 8.30 and 09.30 and is cooked to order. The one lady serving seemed to be really struggling on her own. We had a full English and eggs benedict which were both really good.”

“We called in on the off chance of a roast dinner. It was 2 30 pm, and the staff went out of their way to find us a table for 4 people and our dog . The roast dinners we had were excellent. Lots of meat, veg, and two huge Yorkshire puddings . One of my group wanted scampi, and he wasn't disappointed . The portion size was large . One that any hungry person would have trouble eating. Another good thing is that the quality of food was excellent . I would recommend anyone visit if they were in the area.”

Toilets, daft as it seems, were exceptional, my wife said its 1 of the nicest she's used in a long time.
They even had hand creams.”

“August 25. Happened by this place for a cuppa and cakes. Plenty of choice and the teapot was even using leaf tea. Excellent all round. They closed shop whilst we were there but were entirety ok with is lingering until a rain shower passed. That's what I call good service. Many thanks.”

“I love coming here as I have quite a lot of options being vegan. I believe this is how all establishments should be, providing at least one option for almost every section of the menu. Staff are always attentive and friendly too. The chips are the best around, and all the items I've tasted on the menu are fab! Love the nutty bean burger”
