Popped in for a coffee after driving past and thinking it looked nice. The coffee was delicious and my god. The cookies are like crack!Seemed a really nice atmosphere inside, but we got takeaway. We we were told it would only be a few moments and we could take a seat at an available table to wait (I have a hidden disability - so this was actually really kind and unexpected)When our order was ready the girl brought it to us at the table, which actually kind of shocked me as we were right in front of the counter - it would have been easier for her to just tell us. So to bring it over to us was kind!This will deffo now be my go to place when I'm in Scarborough xxx

Fantastic place. The range of vegan food is amazing, and all cooked separately! I've been waiting for a food vegan chippy for 5 years and this was everything I dreamed it would be. Mushy pea bomb - unbelieveably good, Linda's sausages are amazing and from now on I will be deep frying and battering them! Seasoned tofu gorgeous but it is what you'd imagine, and the soya fish is a great substitute too! Lovely service too, 5 stars definitely! Food was fantastic. We really enjoyed the food and we can take our own wine. Two female staff were really good with service. But i had an issue with one male staff after two female staff left,when i was trying to pay the bill, he tried to over charge me by putting a higher amount to the card machine than the invoice, when i realized and asked him about it he took the invoice and again calculated by his calculator which is inappropriate as clearly it was his mistake or he has tried to over charge me purposefully. It’s a good place with good food but watch out when you paying your bills.

I have lived near Scarborough for over 6 years and never been here before. Been aware of it, but never been. My wife has been a few times and told me how good it is. So we ventured to Giannis. It’s a wonderful place. Lovely, authentic Italian atmosphere - the music was great, pictures on the wall - great atmosphere. The staff are friendly and welcoming. We had the trio bruschetta for starter - delicious. The Calzone pizza and Diavola were absolutely delicious. Enormous and totally full of flavour. We passed on the dessert because we couldn’t eat anymore! The coffees (lattes) were hot (you don’t get hot lattes at the service stations!!) and you could taste the coffee. Fantastico! A great experience - going again for sure. I imagine most living in the area have already been but if you’re visiting Scarborough, and you enjoy Italian food, you have to visit Giannis. You will not regret it.

Recently stayed here. Emma greeted us at the door and she was so lovely and helpful. Very friendly and approachable, nothing was too much trouble for her. She very kindly brought up some fresh milk for us and offered to carry out bags up the stairs. The room we were in was so nice and the bed was super comfortable. The only slight problem was the water in the shower was lukewarm not hot. The breakfast we had was amazing and Chris is an excellent cook. Would definitely book another stay for a bit longer ?Rooms: The room we were in was very well laid out and comfortable. There was tea, coffee and hot chocolate laid out with a kettle and plenty of sugar and milk. There were biscuits available which was a nice touchWalkability: Very easy to get to the beach. The staff are so welcoming, and the food is incredible ? highly recommend the halloumi fries as a side. Definitely worth a visit ? already looking forward to returning later on in the year!

absolutely lovely little spot for a charming dinner!!! me and my partner were looking for somewhere to have a fancy lobster dinner as a special occasion and found this place! the staff were so funny and friendly, they let us meet our lobster before he was cooked (the lobster's name was manolo (also you don't have to do this haha, we just wanted to)). all the food was INCREDIBLE: the calamari, the lobster platter, the cheesecake dessert - all spectacular! we were even given little palate cleansers between courses, the staff really went the trouble of making this a really special dining experience. this was a year ago by the way, and me and my partner still frequently dream about this meal.

What a lovely venue with a really nice vibe and great views from the panoramic window s. The staff are friendly, helpful and polite. They're well-informed, but if unsure will always check. I had a gorgeous mix of rose and dark chocolate hot chocolate drink, made by Billy, who truly does go the extra mile. He was so solicitous and chirpy. My drink was yummy and he made sure to see if I was happy with it, nothing too much for him.
