We called in to the Farrier on Friday evening not being too familiar with the area or the place itself.
The lady who looked to be front of house/owner was very accommodating and made us feel so welcome including our dog who settled in straight away.
All the staff who we came across were professional but also also genuine.
We had an amazing meal but overall a lovely evening in a beautifully designed, attention to detail and further, just a comfortable place to relax and dine.
I don't normally leave reviews but I can see and appreciate the time and effort that has gone into every aspect of this little gem to make it what it is today.
Will definitely be popping in again or booking an overnight stay if in the area again.
We noticed the four in a bed winner award too.
I think it could win every week!
Keep it up and thank you for accommodating a lovely evening for us.

Came here tonight for the first time and oh my days!!! From walking in the door the staff couldn’t do enough (even when our little boy spilt his drink SORRY!) Wow what can I say just had another 10/10
burger experience....This time at Cowshed burgers Scarborough...Brilliant welcoming staff the moment I walked through the door, Very helpful friendly bloke who couldn't do enough for you ....I had the satay peanut sauce and chilli jam cheeseburger with fries and it was banging trust me..... Burger was 10/10 faultless... Fries perfectly cooked ...Obviously theses boys know what they are doing with the smash burgers and if in the area again will be back...Ive had burgers in many towns and city's in the UK USA Spain Cyprus over the years and Cowshed burgers Scarborough comes in at Joint 1st place in my list with smash heat burgers Paphos Cyprus..Keep up the amazing service And thanks for the brilliant experience ???❤️

Came across Mother Hubbards by accident yesterday. Dogs are welcome and good range of gluten free options available. Staff very welcoming, best gluten free fish and chips ? - batter thin and crispy, lovely warm and comfortable ambiance. Would highly recommend to all my coeliac friends and everyone else.

We stayed down the road at St. Helens Caravan Park and went here twice during our 3 night stay.

We had such a fantastic experience at Seven Cafe on our recent few days away in Scarborough.

The breakfasts were absolutely excellent ,fresh, delicious, and perfectly cooked. The staff were amazing too, so friendly and welcoming, which really made the whole visit feel special. The atmosphere had such a lovely vibe, relaxed and enjoyable from the moment we arrived.

We also loved that it’s dog-friendly, so we could bring our pup along who was very happy with their “doggy sausage”!

It ended up being the perfect spot to celebrate my birthday breakfast. We’ll definitely be back on our next visit.

Very welcoming host James is, I contacted to let him know we would be there early and asked if we could get the on street parking pass and then go into Scarborough until our room was ready when we arrived around 12.15 he had got the room ready for us so we had rest of the day to do what we pleased
Rooms are very clean and beds are exceptionally comfortable.
Breakfast was excellent with a good selection to chose from on the pre order form which you are asked to complete the night before and hand in by 8pm which is a great idea
Staff who served breakfast were very good.
the house is decorated to a high standard retaining some of its period features but with a modern twist.
Located a couple of minutes walk from the spa fenicular railway which will take you to the sea front for a reasonable £2.50 return
Very nice stay, excellent value and worth a visit

Stopped in here for a quick pint. Definitely a locals pub. Really warm friendly atmosphere.
Heavily tilted towards a sports theme when you see the decor and tvs showing football and rugby.
At the time most tables were reserved for the quiz night.

Lezzet Mediterranean Bistro is absolutely one of my favourite places in Scarborough. From the moment you walk in, there’s a feeling that this is somewhere special. The interior is warm and inviting with lovely decor that makes the meal feel like more than just dinner—it feels like a treat.

The food is spectacular. Every dish bursts with flavour. Their mixed grill is amazing: tender meat, beautiful char, generous sides—and the sharing platters are genuinely excellent, plenty to go around without feeling skimpy. Vegetarians and people with dietary restrictions will be pleased too; there are good options, and everything I tried felt fresh and well prepared. The hummus, dips, fresh breads, salads—all of it contributes to a rich and satisfying meal experience.

The service is another highlight. The staff are always polite, attentive, and genuinely seem to care that you’re enjoying your meal. Small touches—asking how things are, being helpful about the menu, accommodating allergies—all done with a smile. Even when busy, they manage the flow well so you don’t feel forgotten.

We were seated promptly despite a busy restaurant and not having booked in advance. Very pleasant staff, obviously freshly cooked fish and chips, which were very tasty. Mushy peas and tartare sauce appeared to be freshly made and delicious. Will absolutely eat here again.

Stumbled across this coffee shop on a very cold day visiting Scarborough. Initially went in as it was dog friendly and we had our dog with us. We sat downstairs which was a lovely cosy setting. The steps are quite steep though and spiral if anyone struggles with steps. The food arrived in minutes and was lovely. My fussy eater teen ordered chips and ate them all saying how nice they were. We had tea in little pots which he liked pouring his own and you got plenty for the money. Staff were lovely. Definitely a place I'd re visit with or without the dog. Toilet was downstairs and very clean. Would recommend.

We were very surprised at this little place tucked away.

Upon entering it was clean, friendly, organized and dog friendly.

You won't find sticky tables or menus in this place and it's very reasonably priced too.

We had the teatime special for £13.50. And we're served a beautiful piece of fresh well cooked Haddock, fresh well cooked chips and tasty mushy peas with a pot of lovely tea.

We brought our dog in and she was given a bowl of fresh water and a bakers twizzlers treat to enjoy. We also bought her a large plain sausage as a treat, and the staff cut it up for her and served it in a bowl so it wasn't too hot for her to eat.

They have a brilliant menu, with alternatives such as low salt and steamed potatoes instead of chips. They also have a gluten free option.

It was nice to see staff polishing the cutlery after being washed before it was set back out.

The toilets were clean and had no smell at all with baby change and disability friendly.

The atmosphere is friendly, and not overstimulating. No bright lights, no sticky tables, no loud or intensive music and nice table settings and seating.

It is a large restaurant inside for plenty of custom. And they also have a takeout menu if that's what you desire (obviously cheaper than the seated in option)

It is a shame we live so far away because hands down the best we've eaten and been served by in a very long time.

This pub has recently changed ownership and what a fantastic transformation it has been! Spotless inside, it smells clean and the Decor is fantastic!

We were in for a couple of hours and the bar manager is perfect for front of house, he was polite and engaging with everyone that came in and made us feel extremely welcome during our visit!

Fantastic drinks selection and they were very reasonably priced! They also had happy hour offers on drinks and cocktails which we would be keen to try on another visit! Would have stayed longer if we didn't have plans. Will definitely be back!

After a disaster of a couple of days having poor of no service ordering food at local businesses i came to this wonderful place. I had the best fish ive ever had, so light and crispy. Along with perfect cooked chips. The menu is small but the food is top notch. Ill probably never go again as im not likely to go back to Scarborough again, but if your there and reading this, look no further. Limited opening hours was my only dislike.
