Having visited Embers on several occasions, I'm always left impressed by the consistently outstanding experience. The restaurant has a cosy and inviting atmosphere, perfect for any dining occasion. The food is exceptional, with each visit discovering new flavours and dishes. The cocktails are a must-try and a great complement to the meal. George, the host, ensures every guest feels welcomed and valued, while Dan, the chef, showcases incredible skill and passion in every dish served. Embers is undeniably my favourite place to dine, and I highly recommend it to anyone!

Embers has to be our favourite restaurant in Scarborough. The food and drink menus offer a variety of choices, all prepared using the finest locally sourced ingredients. Two of our guests have food allergies, which was not a problem; they were catered for without issue. Each dish was beautifully presented and packed full of flavour. As always, the front-of-house staff delivered an excellent level of service and were both attentive and professional.If you are reading this review and have never eaten at Embers, what are you waiting for? You will not be disappointed, and, like us, you will be booking to go back again and again!

Delicious meal last night. Couldn't believe home made gluten free bread and great to have staff with an understanding of gluten. The food was lovely. I had the fish.

Fantastic evening celebrating Pete’s (review below!) surprise 60th birthday! The staff were absolutely second to none, on the ball with drinks and making sure everybody had everything they needed. The selection of wood fired starters were amazing and the steak was lovely and tender. We will definitely be back as this was our first visit. Thanks for a lovely evening, Embers :)

Just want to say a massive thank you to the management and staff at Embers for hosting my surprise 60th birthday party on Saturday night. The whole occasion was fantastic from the food, drinks to the atmosphere and all made possible by a fantastic wife and the great team at Embers. Thanks everyone for a night I will never forget

Went here on a recommendation and so glad we did. Friendly staff made us feel welcome when we arrived early. The food is on another level and we were spoiled for choice. Everything came with small details that lifted it. Bread came with confit garlic and flavoured butter. Patatas bravas we’re out of Theo’s world and the whipped feta was incredible The flat breads were a massive stack. The pit plate beat me as was a big meal which packed loads of flavours, my only regret was not picking something smaller so I could have a dessert 100% will be back here
